Blowin up stuff is real good. Ace Greenlaw once told me it comes from kids who play Guns. Then you're hooked. I occasionally find myself playing Guns and I'm 27. Of course I have a deep sense of violence within me. [ This Message was edited by: Sinclair Sinclair on 2002-02-19 19:40 ]</...

Salt pork - a Newfoundland delicacy. Along with fried balogna, cod tongues, French fries with dressing and gravy, and peas pudding. We're not a genteel culture, but we get by.

No, but I do remember a younger Crispy telling me years ago that it was one of the best self-parodies ever created. (Which I tend to agree with. That Phoebe Cates re-telling the horrors of President's Day still cracks me up.)

Hey, I have no right to be critical. My capacity for drawing is limited to poorly drawn stick men and creatures. Kind of like the Good News Bible drawings, except much more simplified. (Although I think people may get upset at the giant sperm chasing the stick figure of Eve.)

I'm more concerned about the horse in #218. Is it me, or does that beast of burden look like ALF?

I believe somewhere in the footnotes of Leviticus it says something about salt that's been touched or passed down the table by anything unclean - bats, snakes, men who use the bathroom at movie theatres and don't wash their hands- is in fact forbidden.
Isn't there a mention of corn chips in the Ne...

I too have had such an 'old man' experience as Shep. XBOX - Halo. Having a 15 year old walk me through the buttons as if I was a chimp with a learning disability was very disconcerting.
And the damn console vibrates when you shoot! Newfangled contraptions. Kind of adds a new tactile dimension to t...

A favorite of mine is boneless chicken breasts slow cooking with two bottles of dry garlic rib sauce. Takes six to eight hours, but it sure beats the 90-second, freezer-burnt, still-cold-in-the-middle microwave enchilada.
And I'm morally opposed to Kraft dinner for the microwave. If you lack the a...

This may seem bizarre and far-fetched, but if you are planning to order a large number of American kitchen appliances, it would be cheaper to get a PO Box in Vermont and hitch a ride down every once and a while.
Convoluted in theory, but in practice... if you get stuff

I've always hoped it would go in more of a "Bosom Buddies" sort of direction, but you know me and cross dressing deities.
I'm also guilty as charged for the back tracking on Monday thing. My workplace keeps my computer hostage.

I know this may be deeply uncompetitive of me, and just a little too Sesame Street, but why can't all the Man-man villian contestants have their badguys in the comic? You know like a secret organization of evil-doers that plot to overthrow all that is good and decent... like an insidious six/CHAOS/m...

Hey, some great works of fiction have been written by dirty old men to embarrasingly young girls...Dante's Divine Comedy, almost everything Edgar Allen Poe wrote (and his cousin no less) Nabokov, William Burroughs... oh sorry, those were boys. Well that was what we started on about wasn't it?
