The server is not being downgraded back to apache 1.3.x I've removed the setting from apache 2 however that is sending that header. Apparently according to the instructions in the conf file, the header is supposed to always be sent, so there is a possiblity that the web browsers are not correctly. ...

webserver upgrade forcing charset=ISO-8859-1?

I suspect it might have to do with recent apache upgrade I see mentioned by Kisai at the keenspace main page. I have utf-8 in my pages which has displayed foreign text just fine forever until re...

selecting the transform (rotate) tool by itself doesn't make your image rotate; you then twiddle until you've selected the angle you want, and press the ok/transform/whatever-it's-called button on the tool's popup to make it perform the rotation.

is "Add an Author" still broken?

The original message in this FAQ thread includes: Q: I can't add another Author in the control panel in SiteAdmin! It keeps logging me out instead! A: This feature is currently broken. You cannot add an additional author until the admin fixes it. Is this indeed still true? My comic has no author lis...

Gimp is great. Any package like Gimp or Photoshop is hard at first, but once you grok what's going on you can do plenty of nifty stuff with Gimp.

no, it is I, returned to these infernally slow forums after a long time, to wreak bloody vengeance upon the living, and also to direct Tcho to our newly updated front page, and also to predict that next to post is my esteemed colleague Yamcha!

Hey there, CapTVK! As for comic books lately: stuff that leaps to mind is: I really enjoyed Posy Simmonds's Gemma Bovery (which I had to order from England). It's a modern story that does fun meta stuff with the Emma Bovary story. Also I have recently started reading Chester Brown's comics... I was ...

Well, keenspace has the ***include filename*** tag to let you easily put the same thing on various pages, and change the contents of the included file to reflect the change to all pages. To get multiple comics going, you could always set up 1 keenspace account per comic, and have a main site link to...

This isn't hard! This is simple. You know where you put your comic image files so that the keen updater will grab them and put them on daily archive pages? Do the same thing with a plain text file. E.g. 20020323a.jpg is a comic, and 20020323b.html is some html/text you want to appear after the comic...
