It seems to me that if you were to go out and kick puppies, you wouldn't be the loser in that case. Well, okay, maybe a little, but the real losers would be the puppies.

Sorry I didn't congratulate you two earlier... between the end of the semester and graduate school applications, my life has closely approximated hell of late. A very productive hell, no doubt, in which I'm getting more work done than I have in months, but hell nonetheless. Well, anyway... congratul...

Yeah, really. I mean, I'd have enough trouble discerning their relative degree of cuteness based on the fact that they were men, but stick-figure men?

Oh well, I guess it's a good thing that the comic established their physical attractiveness without me having to try to figure it out on my own...

Well, if that's not Brian Bell, what's he doing with the ostentatiously-collared shirt?

I don't get it. Oh, there are so many ways I do not get it. As many ways as there are things to not get. I WILL GET NOTHING.

What, did I do something wrong? That was supposed to be a serious post.

Well, the first part of it, anyway.

No, the first part was where you were Brian Bell. The second part.

I'm rather surprised to learn that Toom is actually Rivers Cuomo. Sarah being Brian Bell, however, comes as no shock whatsoever... in fact, I'm mostly just glad to see you're finally admitting it openly. As for emo, if I understand the term, I'd argue that the first full-blown emo album was Elvis Co...

Is the misspelling vital to the answer, or merely a typo?

...oh, wait, I get it, it's a subtle bit of misdirection designed to draw us AWAY from the right answer!

One can only hope the Moose King is kidding. --Jack Me? Kid? Never. It was an established expression; in fact, it survives today in German, except that now it refers to dilemmas involving any sort of livestock, not just cows. In fact, it appears in a famous passage in Heinrich Von Kleist's <i>Micha...

Actually, that's Old English again. "Getting it on with the giant iguana" was a common idiom at the time, and referred to someone suffering from a moral dilemma having to do with cows. So actually, Frank (that is Frank, right? I'm tired) believes that Mike is debating whether or not to steal the vil...

I tried to magnify the image, but it appears to be too blurry to make out. It's definitely text, but image quality isn't sufficient to make it legible.

Actually, I believe it was originally "rabbit", and then some guy in the 18th century or something decided to change its name because it didn't actually contain rabbits. Or something. I need to do the research. Suffice to say either is acceptable. And the comic itself isn't in Old English. Oh, well....

Man... you have no idea how long I've waited to describe "Hwaet" as the Old English translation for "Stop, collaborate, and listen". And then the opportunity finally arrives, and nobody so much as comments on it? Damn!
