Re: So... what do you think?
Wow... look at all of that spam. And to answer your question, I quite enjoy your art. With all respect to CR, I find his stuff was a little on the flat side, to many completely solid colors. Yours adds some 'grit' in a positive way, it makes things feel more real and less detatched. Also, the style ...

Re: BACK IN ACTION!
Also, I'm digging the new character designs. Not to knock the previous artist, but his style lended itself more to comic-mischief than to comic-drama like Lightbrigner. And yes, Sun Tzu, it is very good to have this back.

BACK IN ACTION!
w00t! I am so glad to see you at it again Linkara! Did I tell you that this was one of my main inspirations for my book series? (I'm writing book 3 as I speak). So who's the new artist, or is this you, new and improved, because it certainly looks very good!

Re: Darkbringer Arguments
The one thing that I really hate about this debate is the overuse of the word 'darkness' to represent evil. With all due respect to Linkara's concept of 'Lightbringer vs Darkbringer', but I have strict belief that Light and Darkness are two neutral elements, two sides of the same coin. Neither are b...

Re: Lightbringer - Identities
I'd be willing to help with that. My specialty is dialouge, and I hope I can contribute. However, me and my art friend have already started an alternate filler comic, so I don't think he could be of much help (He's pretty bogged down with Comic stuff at the moment). But, sure, send it my way, I'd be...

@TarotFlame, you said you can't get your comic off the ground due to scripting? I think I can help with that.

Re: Lightbringer on Hiatus Once Again
Try writing. I know you wanted a comic, but if you want to continue it without an artist or as much time consumption, writing could be a good alternative to getting the story out there. You could even commission someone to write the story with one of your scripts. Ah, well, I'm sure whatever you cho...

Re: A History of General Werres
Success! After Procrastinating, a trip home from Germany, the begining of school and my harddrive being fried, I have finally succeded in finishing my humble script for your comic. I just need you to look over it for things you want me to add or subtract, send it back to me, and then I'll send you a...

Re: The Mayor: Control Freak or Secret Villain?
I agree with Phantom here. I also want to point to the way she's portrayed in the artwork. In some of the pannels she seems tired, with bags under her eyes, and in others she seems to be loosing grip on reality with her crazy banter. I'm going for the " She's snapped, homefizzle! " theory. Although,...

We haven't seen enough of her to get a positive read on her motives. Although the fact that she turned to 'The Seven' for aid is quite suspicious...

Re: Suggest A Storyline!
To Phantom 64: I actually have a 'hero' that blurs the line of good and evil. I was going to make a comic about him, but I can't draw, so, there you go. His main quest is to find his memory, but to do that he must serve as a Specialized Grimm Reaper, killing who he is assigned to kill. Along the way...

Re: A History of General Werres
Okay, so this isn't going as planned. D: Procrastination, along with my general lack of talent drawing, has basically halted my progress finishing the comic. I have only four pages done, and none of them have text yet or color. :( What I propose is that I write out the script, scan copies of some ch...

Re: A History of General Werres
Excellent! Now, is there anything about the General that you may have left to be implied, like something people may not have picked up on? For example, where was he born (Pharos, New York, Chicago, etc.)?

A History of General Werres
Linkara, I was interested in doing a back story to the General. People have complained that they couldn´t see how he fell into this evil way, but I think I have a good idea for his past life and the reasons for the things that he´s done. With your permission, I would like to begin writing and drawin...

No, mutants don´t exist! I´m totally sure that a magic duck gave him the powers. Why? Why not, I dare ask you?
Edit: I was half-asleep when I wrote this, so of course I made no sense. Apologies, good forum goers.

Re: Do you have what it takes to be a superhero?
Its not like I´d go out on patrol aiming to kill someone. Its a last resort. While LB wouldn´t dare think of it as an option at all, I consider it the final wall between winning and loosing. Can´t run, can´t save others, can´t stop the people non-lethally, then kill. Like I said, last resort. And of...

Wouldn´t it be interesting though to find out he does have some form of repressed Second Personality? Like if he has Dislocative Personality Disorder, what would his other side be? Would the man be kill crazy or a complete Pacifist? Perhaps he does have PTSD, or depression. I´m just interested in ho...

Re: Redo the Old Ones?
I agree that you should focus on your new panels and not remakes.
However, I did do a sketch of the first cover art, and it wound up pretty good. I would actually be interested in redoing a few epic moments in the series myself. All in all, if I do it, just consider it fan art.
