This used to happen to me...I would post something, get an error message, try again in a few moments, get same error message, try again...finally I would succeed, only to see ten identical posts over several minutes. Then I would delete nine of them. Finally I learned not to repost so fast, just go ...

I would like Ralph's reply to the additions I showed, as well as K.S. list of varying king reigns/deaths (and Ralph's reply to THESE)

Well, I gave the verses, and you can look them up in the Bible. In my NAB version, such things are given in the notes as "corruptions" (like in Ezra) or as figurative language (the Numbers quote gives a "corrected" figure, as opposed to nearly every other version, including Catholic ones). The Churc...

Here is another I came across:
Ezra 1 9-11.
Items enumerated: 30+1029+30+410+1000=2499
Total given: 5400.

Can God add (Numbers 3)?

The book of Numbers gives the a count of Levite males a month and older by three clans or houses. Verse 22 7500 Verse 28 8600 Verse 34 6200 Then a total is given in Verse 39 as 22000. But these numbers total 22300! And if you say it is a scribe's error, than how can I trust anything in the Bible tha...

They had a stained glass window with a human and Racconan IIRC. But the human size was underestimated. Humans are BIG. The Racconan in the last frame looks comparable to the kid in size, especially since he is in the foreground, not the background. Remember how BIG the human scale golem looked way b...

Buy the CDs anyway. They have great supplemental information on the Questorverse. The $20 extra is for twice a week, the CDs cost about ten bucks or so with shipping and stuff (forget exactly how much).

(As a free trader): Yes, we have developed many non-lux inventions in our time in isolation. The printing press and the self-cleaning chamber pot are just two examples. It is unlikely that the humans have such novelties, and trade in them would give us an advantage without overly risking the realiza...

OOC: I have basically stated the position I feel an expansionist would hold - that as risky as it is, it is the only course which has a chance to succeed. It would be interesting to hear some other takes on the expansionist party, so I invite others to roleplay their take on expansionist policy. It ...

Xellas You are arguing for a quicker suicide...going out into the open would bring the humans down on us all the sooner. However, if we can scout in secret (a big if) a strategy I personally would favor (I do not know about the other expansionists) would be to set up colonies in other empty lands (i...
