I've deleted my thread, just so there aren't two on the same thing. When you receive your Welcome email, there will not be a password included. You need to set it up. Go to this page to set it up. If you set your password using the link you got in the "Your account is ready" e-mail, but never got an e-mail confirming the password, then you've got the same problem I have.
