Re: Help with layout and advertisements... (fixed?)

I can do <div>'s I'd just rather not. But I see what you're saying and appreciate your help. I'll just redo the layout so that it does what it's supposed to without frames. Since there's a dailytemplate page it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to keep the site looking decent. Thanks Doc.

Re: Help with layout and advertisements...

Ok so, there's nothing I can do or there's nobody that has any clue how to help or there's nobody that wants to help...

I'll just redo my layout. Thanks.

Re: How far in advance do you usually upload?

A year and a half eh? Must be nice. Wish I could do that. Then again, if I went that far ahead, when it was time to do new stuff I'd probably lose interest or completely forget where I left off. I think I can only stay a couple months ahead for the sake of the continuance of my comic. I know what y...

Re: How far in advance do you usually upload?

 Then consider my hand shaken and yours too! And heavens no, I'm updating only twice a week. Every day would be fun but insane! I wouldn't worry too much - deadlines are the absolute best muses. And the more you do, the faster you become. Or if you're like me, the more detailed you become... I...

Help with layout and advertisements... (fixed?)

I'm trying to update my comic genesis page with a new layout so it isn't looking like the general one that I was given. In doing so I've basically worked up everything that needs to be done and my only problem now is the advertisement. I have no problem keeping it on and that's not the issue. It's a...

Re: The Best You've Ever Done!

Ok, here goes. I still think the work you've all posted dominates, but I have done a couple of my own that I'm really proud of. The one that posted today is probably my favorite, and not just this particular one but the one to follow this which is just the second part to the story this one starts. I...

Re: Comic Ratings

You know, it really is to me as well. I guess I just look forward to some sort of popularity with stuff I've created. Making money with it would rock, but that'll probably never happen lol.

Re: Bad jokes you might want to repeat

BAD JOKE WARNING! And now I'm banned. I used to maintain the canonical list of Helen Keller jokes on usenet. I once got a letter from one of her decendants telling me what a monster I was. I took it as a compliment. I wouldn't touch your joke with a 10-foot pole. Thanks. That actually made me feel ...

Ah, I see. Well then I guess my instant gratification problem will be put on hold. Because I do enjoy what I'm doing and I think that SOMEBODY out there will probably like what I do. Thanks for the "welcom back to earth" speech lol.

Re: Digital vs. pen and paper -- a.k.a tools of the trade

LOL That right there is the best reason to do it :)

However, I don't think I'll ever be famous for my stuff. Hell, I don't think I have any fans of it yet and it's been around long enough to gain AT LEAST one lol.

Re: Bad jokes you might want to repeat

Well, I'm not a comedian, so sorry I couldn't be better at it. However, I have great comedic sense. I'm just working with a bad audience.

Re: Digital vs. pen and paper -- a.k.a tools of the trade

That's a really good point. I sort of miss that as well... showing people something I've done because I'm able to carry it around instead of having them get on their computer and go to a website and click some links... maybe I will start sketching some stuff out again. You might've started something...

Re: Bad jokes you might want to repeat

BAD JOKE WARNING! Seriously, this one is very bad. And not in a "bad joke" sort of way, but in a disgusting-should-never-be-said kind of way. So if you can't handle it, don't read any further... How do you make a 5 year old boy cry twice? Wipe your bloody dick on his teddy bear. And now I'm banned.

Re: Site Admin Login Problems (kinda fixed for now)

Sure :) http://siteadmin.comicgenesis.com:8080/cgi-bin/lost_password.cgi As far as using one siteadmin login name for more than one comic, how do I get that to work? Also, I've noticed that my stuff won't update if I don't do a regular or full update if I change anything at all, like the order of my...

Re: Comic Ratings

I love hate mail. The Worms I have coming out this sunday is kind enough, but while I was doing it up I was hoping it would draw SOME sort of hate from somebody. It probably won't though. I don't think I have enough viewers for that yet. Firstteam, I kind of feel that way too about the updates and l...
