Re: SergeXIII wants to review your web comic

I'm surprised at how much feedback you've given, especially since at the moment the comic is less that 30 pages long. I've been a bit uneasy with the text for a while and getting a second opinion on it has made my mind up to change it. Yeah, the deconstructed comic thing didn't really work with week...

Re: How long did you wait to "pimp" your comic?

I figure I'll get round to pimpin' my comic around the time I get round to pimpin' up the site. Should be sometime around Tuesday. Next year.

Re: Okay, its the RE 5 thread

RE5 in short: Fun, AI partner is OK, better in two player. Unlimited ammo unlockables break game. Don't use them unless you're grinding cash to upgrade guns. Not racist, do grow up. Also, there's a boss fight where you fight a couple cosplaying as Nina Williams from Tekken and Neo from The Matrix wh...

Re: Where did it come from?

Nowhere. No, really. I'm one of those people who get loads of ideas, plan out some sort of story/comic/game whatever and then loose interest before it gets finished. I was getting tired of all the notes and sketches I had lying around and decided to put them all to one side and do something new. I e...

Re: Background art - any tips?

You can get some decent results by skimping on detail most of the time, so long as somewhere you put in the background detail to show what something looks like. People have a habit of filling in the blanks themselves. Background and landscapes are a big weakness of mine, so I tend to spend extra tim...

Re: How far in advance do you usually upload?

I typically get a splurge of insiration to do something followed by several months of not paying attention to it, followed by another splurge. I didn't bother signing for an account until I had enough buffer to take me through to next spring. I'm currently on another frenzy of comic making that shou...
