What Birds Know 350 pages!
It's been a while since I pitched WBK, so I thought it might be okay... If it's not, sorry... We have reached 350 pages, yay! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/emeliemattias/drama-1.jpg http://fribergthorelli.com/wbk For people unfamiliar with this comic, here's the gist: Three girls takes a hi...

Cool.
But good comicking is about getting your point across in the most effective way. The reader has to get it instantly and with ease. While this is an interesting idea, it isn't as effective or easy as normal speech bubbles, is it?

Re: Marvel or DC? Not Mac or PC.
I'd have to say DC. I read a few of my mom's old Superman, Superboy and Legion of Super Heroes comics when I was a kid. She had a lot of issues from the sixties and seventies. They ranged from bad to hilariously bad, of course, but I've hardly read anything Marvel related at all, so...

Not agreeing with something doesn't make it okay to repeatedly ridicule it...
Anyway, there are actually comic books for blind people. Granted, it's more like an audio book than an actual comic, but it apparently works. Who'd have thunk?

Re: Oooh character evolution!
I actually went through your archives and compared the old pages and the new pages side by side (the new ones are totally better but damn, the old ones were still great) and then got totally hooked. That's a very awesome comic you're makin' there! Thank you! :) (Maybe it was unnecessary to redraw a...

Re: How long are your chapters/seasons/volumes/whathaveyou?
Every "chapter" is around 160 pages long.
There's two of them, now. After three years.

Love these threads! Re: Best part/Worst part
I'm cheerful. I like it all! Drawing thumbnails, doing layout, designing stuff, adding details, even drawing the panel lines. Ooh, and uploading pages is great fun.
But I don't actually have to write, ink or color anything, though...

This is an interesting thread! I want to see more. :) I love those pages by Warofwinds - very atmospheric! I've always been fond of these pages: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/emeliemattias/p238.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v611/emeliemattias/p239.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albu...

Re: Introduction Thread - Welcome to the New and Old
Hi. It's been a while since I was here last, so I might as well start in this thread.
I'm Mattias Thorelli, co-creator of What Brids Know. I used to post in here under the name hallonpress, but since we don't use that name anywhere anymore, I started a new account. Nice to meet you.
