Re: What's a good program to make character sheets with?
I recommend PCGen. It's at http://pcgen.sourceforge.net/ I'm not sure how it handles 4e (if at all), but for 3.5e, it's possible there's nothing better around. The only drawback is, it doesn't handle houserules well. Oh, and it's won an EN award, too. It works for other systems too, but I haven't te...

Re: Today's comic
Yes...."What are they capable of" is the big question. If we assume each geek morphs into the stereotype they play the most, then what about wizards and psions? Those were forms of geeks are actually capable of large-scale destruction. I'm starting to suspect the Hunters really do have a reasonable ...
Re: Query
I'd certainly love an IRC channel. Although, I think Magicstar is better for a geeky channel (like Weregeek's channel would be) than Sorcery.

Re: JAGS (Just Another Gaming System; not)
Have-Not? Minimalist? It's as over-the-top as it gets without going to the realm of Exalted or Wushu. I once built a GSH with cybernetics. It summed up to 28 REA points and had two rounds of actions in one normal round because of bullet time (Totaling a massive 56 REA points/round). Not to mention t...

JAGS (Just Another Gaming System; not)
Well, this system is my personal favorite, and my hope that it will one day be a lot more known is undying. Here's a link to the site: http://www.jagsrpg.org That site is under repair, but has been coming back online, albeit at a very slow rate. Now, I know where to get most of the supplements it ha...

Re: Dark Heresy
Oh, and here's a current complete character I have done. Starting level, too. Aw crud... .doc isn't allowed. http://www.dndonlinegames.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=27859 ”Silent Shadow” Home World: Iochantos (Imperial Agri World) Appearance: Although Silent is young, the years have not been kind ...

Re: live-action?
*sigh* Nice to see how lively the geek culture is in the States... Where I live... Well, "God-forsaken backwater" would be a serious understatement. The nearest decent gaming store is in another country. The only serious gaming groups are in the capital cities. LARPs are here... but they're an annua...

Re: Dark Heresy
Sweeeeeeeet. Thanks Levi By the way, I'm willing to be DM, if everyone else wants to be a player. But let's get one thing straight, if I'm going to be DM, then I won't allow Space Marine characters. Stuff from the Inquisitor's Handbook is still allowed, but no Space Marine characters and ask me abou...

Re: Dark Heresy
Well, this is certainly interesting. Good thing I found this thread. I'm certainly interested. Also, I have DMing experience with this. Oh, and there is an extra book out there, the Inquisitor's Handbook. I have it (but the difficulty of getting one was comparable to going to Mount Doom and back). T...

Re: Today's comic
...Is that a smile on the face of the first hunter? (The smile looks kinda like "At last! Some action!")
