Re: Remember when I said I may get a new forum?

I approve of the move. It makes sense with both the comic and the forum on Sage. See you over thar! Well if Suburban updated his comic more often, we'd have more to talk about. Yeah. That's true actually. It's easy to forget this place when there's no comic to talk about and people generally ...

My favourite is the red head one, it's so simple - and there's a solution.
And another cool thing with that clip is that I recognize the schoolyard. I've been temping at that very school and it's on the Stockholm north side.

Re: How's your life atm?

Something weird happened to me. A few weeks ago someone sent me an SMS with a really dirty joke and signed it -The Snowboard chicks. I forgot about it but a week later there was another dirty joke and then I responded and said this might be the wrong number, which it was. Then we kept a conversation...

Just want to share something from swedish TV

It was during a commercial break they showed ads for a network against school bullying, and wow! I mean do you honestly expect something to pop up during commercial break, last no longer than 40-50 seconds that makes your jaw drop and almost moves you to tears? That's skill! Although I guess the sub...

Re: Random thought for the day

The "Walt Disney of Japan" thing only holds up as far as high-budget animated + family/children films + huge distribution. Right. There's really nothing more than that to the comparison. Is there? I mean, their films are so different. Themes, style etc. Not that there's anything particularly wrong ...

Re: Random thought for the day

The "Walt Disney of Japan" thing only holds up as far as high-budget animated + family/children films + huge distribution. Apart from that, I don't think Disney movies are comparable to Studio Ghibli movies. The Ghibli films are extremely straight and they always deal with pure emotions. There are n...

Re: Random thought for the day

It just goes to show that reality doesn't permit any ideology to control things indefinitely. Over-production and over-consumption and over-spending has caused the economic holocaust currently in progress. Ah, very good. It's what I think aswell. Where does it come from this idea of the pure ideolo...

She probably knows his father. Or maybe she regards Evan as a child and is teasing him a bit. Probably both.

A pretty odd way to behave otherwise.

Reminds me of my friend who went to urology and recieved a comment of approval for his nice trim... by a male nurse...

Re: Random thought for the day

I think that's what upsets me. There are of course all sorts of reps and obviously a whole lot of good people there too. Not that I could ever agree with an entirely unregulated market and a complete removal of social safety nets, which I think is a misguided practice. Mainly because you'd see a dec...

Re: How's your life atm?

How do you get attention? I've always wondered what stood me apart from other people in regards to being noticed. It just seems whether it be in real life or online, I really don't seem to stand out much. Flashiness just isn't me I guess. Which seems to be how the world tends to work, not always th...

Re: Random thought for the day

The whole wide world got Barackroll'd. :D I'm so happy, and not a day too soon! I went to lurk around in the webcomic forums that have giant chickenhawk crowds and they are bawwww'ing their eyes out. I guess it should count as a guilty pleasure of mine, because it's pretty darn petty and immature. A...

Re: Severed Ties ------->The current arc

Besides the characters and the well-paced narrative, the thing that keeps me hanging on to EOT is the question: "What will cause Evan to break out of his denial?" Well. He's pretty much cornered now it seems. Whether it's enough to make him realise, hard to say. Poor kid. On the other hand, he migh...
