Re: How long did you wait to "pimp" your comic?
I don't remember how far in I was before I asked for feedback on my comic but I believe it was far past 20. It's hard to get a grasp on a comic's development without a good archive to go through. I've been working on my comic for over 6 years now and I'm still not too pushy on advertising and "pimpi...

Re: Guest Strip Request
Great, I always like to return the guest strip love when someone sends one to me. I enjoy doing guest strip in general as it lets me explore different characters and experiment a bit with styles.

I'm not looking for any specific number. The more the better. If I don't use them in May I will use them over the summer (summer is always insane for me).
Thanks,
Dave.

Guest Strip Request
I haven't posted on this site in quite a while but the next few months are looking like they are going to be pretty busy for me so I am looking for some kind folk that can make guest strips for Taking the Bypass ( http://cartoonme.net ). I am aiming to run the strips in May so you have a bit of time...

I agree that it depends on the style of the comic and how the artist uses it. I love both when done right.

Re: mcDuff's reviewalicious thread
Thanks for the review. I know I need a lot of work on character development and I have been trying to think of some good ways to move forward with this (though I still haven't worked it out yet). If you have any good suggestions of reading material that is good for helping with this I would love to ...

Inkscape
Has anyone tried out Inkscape? I just recently found out about it and would love to hear some feedback.
It is a free vector based art program and it looks pretty slick.

Re: Asking for criticism (Taking the Bi-pass)
Thanks Harishankar,
I have heard this feedback from readers before but since the character is based off myself I don't want to cut the hair off. I really don't look that girlish in real life
Maybe I could square the jaw a little more though to make the character more masculine.
