I've read both the graphic novels, I'll definitely be catching this.

France is putting out some of the best animation there is, these days.

The building looks like it's leaning because the horizon's not at the eye level of the panel's point of view. It's not actually leaning, it just feels off because we're seeing it from a position that doesn't really exist.

Mostly research subjects I have no natural interest in. Astronomy, endocrinology, Edwardian fashion and architecture, common themes in apocalyptic prophecy, Chinese martial arts, Buddhism, mental illness, urban chicken husbandry, the history of the personal computer....
