Re: Error Deleting Files in public_html [update]
I'm having the same problem. I haven't touched my comicgenesis webcomic in forever and I want to delete everything but the main pages. I can delete them from workspace just fine, but the public_html files remain and I can't change the permissions either. It would be great if an admin or someone from...

Re: How do I transfer my site files to a new site?
I thought of using comicpress and I may still do that, but I don't like it to be honest. I hate how every webcomic that uses it looks like the same bland template. I might go the PhP route, if I can, ya know...figure out how exactly to use php...

How do I transfer my site files to a new site?
Alright, I'm getting my own domain and site hosting soon, and I need to know how to do this. I'm hoping at first anyway to be able to have the same update style as I do right now on ComicGenesis, just transfer all the files to the servers of my new host. I've noticed that certain comics that used to...

Need guest comics for my site
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in, but like the subject says I need guest comics. I'm thinking of having a guest week on my site: http://mintcondition.comicgenesis.com I'm reaching out to basically anyone. I want to see what fans, other cartoonists, or whoever really can come u...

Re: Complaint from a reader
Yeah sounds like a problem on their end. When I got a new computer recently none of the images that were in CG's root domain folders were showing up. I realized the ad blocker was on high, so when I turned it down they all appeared again. Tell him to take down his ad blocking, or at least add your s...

Re: Can I have my own domain hosted on Comicgenesis?
So it's definitely all out then, even for established cartoonists?
That sucks.
I still haven't heard anything back from StrRedWolf on the subject so I don't know anything about it.

Re: Comicgenesis appears to be down...
I just hope the FTP servers are back up soon...not being able to log in to that is quite frustrating...also, my blog won't update it either. I have a blogger account that I have embedded onto the main page of my site and it's updated via FTP. So since the servers are down, it's not updating. It keep...

Can I have my own domain hosted on Comicgenesis?
Is there some sort of application to this or something? I've read some threads around discussing this, but nothing recently. It mentioned that domain parking had been stopped for the time being, but that was a while ago. It mentioned that if they were to accept new domains it would have to be comics...

Comicgenesis appears to be down...
All links to my site, Comicgenesis, or any other comics hosted on Comicgenesis aren't working right now...
Does anyone know what's going on?

Re: guide.comicgenesis.com
That's a really good question. I've been wondering the same thing before I get my own domain name and site. If there is a way to make your CG site name be redirected it would be awesome. The only thing I can think of though is that you make a HUGE link on your CG site that says "GO HERE" or somethin...

Re: Mint Condition - My Webcomic
By the way Bionic Dance, how long does it take you to complete a comic? I stumbled across yours a while back and was stunned that you actually do a full-page comic rendered in 3D. I was wondering how long it takes you to do that and what your process is for doing it? And Still Life, I dig the comic....

Re: Mint Condition - My Webcomic
I'm so over that pseudo-anime/manga look I may need to alter my art style...I could have sworn once I started into that style that (hey this doesn't look anime at all!). At least that's what I thought...I hate anime. So I may need to work on that to get even further from anime as possible. "Ultimat...

Mint Condition - My Webcomic
Just thought I'd throw myself (and my Comic) for your critiquing/commenting. I've been doing the comic for over 2 years now, but never put my comic up for real critiquing on the site that it's hosted on. So here it is. My name is John Harmon. My comic is called Mint Condition. Link is here: http://m...

Having Problems with Internet Explorer's Rendering of CSS...
Ok, so if you couldn't tell, IE is giving me trouble...as usual. You see, yesterday I made some updates to the site (as in I made all the navigation buttons, including the comic nav buttons as rollover images). And it looks beautiful in Firefox and Opera. However, in IE everything looks fine EXCEPT ...

Re: How do you add social networking icons to the comics?
Do you think that's the problem? I have the div align="left" on the dailytemplate too, but maybe the index template just acts differently since it's the main page. I'll keep tweeking it and see what happens.
Oh and thanks for the compliment. I surely intended Ultimate Gandhi to be awesome, haha.

Re: How do you add social networking icons to the comics?
Ok, so I've gotten the networking icons to work on my dailytemplate, but when I add them to my indextemplate, it screws up the entire page. You can see how the main page is supposed to look by going to: http://mintcondition.comicgenesis.com When I add the networking link to the index page (right bel...

Re: How do you add social networking icons to the comics?
Thanks man. I'll have to give that a try. Should be fun to experiment with. And by that, I mean incredibly frustrating, haha. I'm not even sure if it work right anyway. It might if it links to the entire page and not to just the comic. If it linked to the comic then I'd be screwed since comicgenesis...
