Batman has his flaws, as good as he is he can lose site of the objective sometimes and once his reasoning takes a back seat he's just a danger to himself and anyone that tries to help him. I can't believe nobody has said Proffesor X yet, he can potentially take down anyone or mess their head up so b...

Seriously though she's been living with my dad and I for over two decades now she shouldn't be making these mistakes anymore.

Awww Jess is actually quite cool about all the geekery, but like Aldagrim said probably just more oblivious than anything else. Actually she reminds me of my mum when she confuses Star Trek with Star Wars.

Pretty much the same here, I usually get some clothes and lots of Borders gift cards.

So if I told my parents about my fascination with anime and women in maids uniforms do you think I could get one?
An anthropomorphic maid is for life, not just for Christmas.*

Wow! That's a cool concept!
That reminds me of one of the sub plots in the Sandman comics.

Eeeeep there's more than one of them.

If scrawling a few lines of doggerel into a moleskin in a blarringly loud discotheque is all it takes to be swarmed by women, then I think I have a new plan for this Saturday night. Only works in goth clubs sadly, or Starbucks but then you have to live with the knowledge that you're just auctioned ...

There was a song released over here called Acceptable In The 80s not long ago. While I agree with music and cartoons, the fashion sense left something to be desired. Well except to goth which really hasn't evolved much since then :D

It might not be so good at burning zombies, but if you could set up burn lines it would probably discourage their approach. Say, re-route some natural gas pipelines, pop a few holes in them and light them up? I dunno, it might be more trouble than it's worth. If you had the time to get that elabora...

Also remember fire isn't hugely effective. I did give thought to digging trenches then realised that unless you could safely burn the contents or get rid of them regulary somehow it would be really ineffective. Plus if you had to burn them then it wouldn't do the air much good and all you'd smell fo...

The Zombie Survival guide is a wonderful read, and provides you with an endless amount of thought experiments. I spent days writing down unusual news reports with a view to makinf a fictional blog predicting the upcoming zombie apocalypse, never got round to it though. I think living close to the S...

Happy Halloween, voted Geeks Favourite Holiday over 30 years running.* I'm trying to decide between going out to my mates party as Jesse Custer from Preacher, a gorilla or a lounge lizard (hawain shirt, snakeskin trousers and green body paint). *May be a made up fact, but would be true if there was ...

The Zombie Apocalypse Thread

Thanks Alina, if it wasn't for the recent strips then this thread might not exists, and let's face it every forum needs one. Ok if you don't know the drill, hypothetically a zombie apocalypse has broken out. The undead are rampaging through the streets. The government is powerless to do anything and...
