I haven't introduced any villains yet (but you might get one in the next couple of comics--I've started up production again, what with school and finances squared away for the time being). However, while I have some roles that need to be filled by characters who are less than heroic, I don't really ...

Welcome. I remember back in the day, when we had sandwiches, but we called them jelly rocks, because instead of meat between two slices of bread we just had crushed fruit smashed between two rocks. Each meal chipped half of our teeth, but we ate our rocks and we liked it, dagnabbit! Kids these days...

Most of my pop culture references so far have been to Star Wars and Star Trek. (They're not a major part of my humor so far.) I suppose those can't get me in trouble, since those are fairly well known.

Could I *please* have a few extra hours? I know this is the deadline, but I have the pictures in front of me, almost done, and I had to deal with a blackout today. No fun. I'll have them all ready and mailed in later tonight. Edit: Actually, they're all done, all four stages of each picture, but I C...

In answer to the original question, I just started learning how to draw this year, so my skills are nowhere near good enough to say I'm not still learning. I doubt if that'll ever be the case, really. When coming up with a general setting for my comic, I chose something that is about as broad as can...

I've got some lovely sketches that I will be converting to full pictures for KeenSwim. Yep, my vacation is over, so I can finally get ready to submit my KeenSwim materials. They're not quite ready yet, since I want to make sure they're all higher quality than regulary daily comics. What I have so fa...

My setting is taken from real life, and I have plans for a couple of characters based on real life people, but that's about as far as that goes.

I'm assuming the late, great Paul Erdos won't be too upset if I base one of my comic's mathematicians on him.

I suppose some comics really have multilpe styles. I know I started out with tame college life, and now I'm moving into a bit of a nautical murder mystery, which will be followed by a big surprise and then an even bigger surprise, followed by a really trippy psychodelic arc. My dream is to someday w...

My hits are actually slightly *up* this month, though there was really nowhere to go *but* up after such a lousy May.

I'm still waiting for popularity and hits from people who aren't *me*.

I sketch in pencil and then go over my sketches with one of those special pens I bought at an art store. I forget what it's called, but it works better than a ballpoint pen.

Actually, I do everything offline, since I don't have internet (or a scanner) at home. Hooray for old school!

I update often, so I don't bother with regularity. Now, if my comic could get over some of its technical difficulties (e.g. the template files disappearing every so often), then I might be more likely to go to a regular schedule eventually. However, that would occasionally mean fewer comics in a wee...

My comic has had pretty much nothing objectionable so far unless you count some mildly fanservice-y bathing suits, but I'm pretty sure I rated it PG-13 because there will be some violence and such later, most likely. Plus creepiness. Most movies that are generally creepy get at least a PG-13 rating,...

Thank you very much for your reponse! I appreciate it. Okay, I've added navigation links. I thought I had them before, but like my template files, they must have disappeared. Sorry about that. At some point, I'm going to try making everything look nicer (images instead of links, etc.), though that's...

Hmm, who should enter? Should I go with Alice, Beatrice, or Amelia for the girls? Should I enter the hunky Arthur for the guys, or should I go with beanpole Percy? I think Percy would have been responses to the questions, but Arthur wins at eye candy. Alice is my favorite of my female characters, bu...

Comic critique, ahoy!

My comic: "Liddell" I think I finally have enough reasonably good content posted to make it worth asking for critique. I have about 45 comics posted, of which the first 21 are awful and the last 34 are passable. I worry that my jokes aren't all that funny, or at least not consistently funny, and I'...

Since my characters are all college freshmen (yeah, I know, lame, but the college setting is just a background for the mysteries), I plan on posting their majors and GPAs and maybe even SAT scores (or GRE scores for the graduate students).
