Re: Today's comic
You'll notice the Hunter missed, probably on purpose since they did say they wanted him alive. My guess is he's trying to lure the weregeek out into the open, out into public view where he'll lose all his weregeek powers and be easy prey for them.

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
Looks like a racoon to me, except for the rat-like face. Ebil-lookin' anyway.
I rather like the mole/sloth/badger/whatchamacallit with the book in the center below the cats. It looks like it's trying so hard to read what's written in that book. ^-^

Re: Character Arena
This does sound intriguing, but the aspect of competition between player characters makes me a little leary. I don't tend to go in for the imposing, impressive characters with high stats and l33t skills. I tend to run low end, more interested in character interaction and storytelling than amazing fe...

Re: Today's comic
The thing is that way of thinking doesn't come naturally to many people. Sure it's a better way to play, if you know how to do it. But how do you think to do something like that if you've never seen it done? In a lot of people's minds it's an either/or situation. Either you get into character and pr...

Re: Today's comic
*grin* I currently RP a character who is largely clueless about everyday things, but she has a paradoxically firm grasp of more advanced concepts. If you want to explain something simple to her the easiest way to get through to her is to make the explanation as complicated and technical as possible.

Never mind Joel. I'm worried that Abbie and Dustin might carry their little spat in-game with them.

I dunno Tom. I think it's just your imagination. Joel just looks empathetic to me, a rather atypical look for him but nothing suspicious.

It's a sad day for us all, but I suppose everyone rolls a 1 eventually. Mr. Gygax, your legacy shall live on.
