further to my paleness comments, I went out for a local free festival day yesterday. It was hot, the sun was shining. I was applying factor 40 spf regularly.

While I luckily didn't burn, my freckles have multiplied like rabbits.

I am part irish, and very, very, pale. In winter I am see-through/blue toned. The closest I get to a tan is a faint biscuity shade. More than ten mins without at least factor 20 in the sun and I start to freckle. Mor than about 40 minutes and I start to burn.

What did I do?

Last night was the Gamesoc party/election. During the 'joke' positions (the ones you don't have to be a Uni member for) I was drunk and got pushed forward to run for Violence Officer. I won. Apparently I must be in charge of Violence within Gamesoc.

I am never drinking southern comfort again.

We used to LARP in public pretty frequently, back in the mid-90's. The number of times the Campus Police stopped a group of us dressed as demons or Nosferatu and said "Oh, it's just you guys again. Never mind.", boggles my mind. We LARP around the local Campus a lot. In summer, when lots of people ...

Ok, at work once, I was talking to some of my colleagues and laughinly said 'I'm such a geek' when talking about my hobies. They acted all shocked and sai 'DOn't say that! I'm a BiIG fan of Tom Holt and Robert Rankin. Both quite surreal and funny fantasy stories.

My father taught me to read with Lord of The Rings. It all started there... I spent most of my youth reading obsessively through various fantasy books, just what I could find. It wasn't much, living in a small english village. I started roleplaying online at about the age of 14, but as I was so mass...
