Tangent has a lot of reviews up. Thanks. Tangent's been on my agenda for a few days, I just have to contact him so we can work out how his reviews translate to our scoring system. Review my comic, good, bad, or ugly! Send a URL to panelled@gmail.com and we'll add you to the queue =) I guess you cou...

Sounds like a cool idea...although you may run into a problem with their being a lack of webcomic reviewers out there. There's certainly nowhere near as many as are reviewing movies or videogames or something. Believe me, we're well aware of the problem. That's why we're trying to work out a soluti...

Webcomic Review Database
Hi everyone, Me and a few people have recently begun to build a new site that we feel will be useful for webcomic readers and creators alike. It's called Panelled - the Webcomic Review Database. Think of it as like Rottentomatoes.com, but for webcomics. Right now the site is still in its infancy, so...

There's a great article here arguing for more awards rather than less. Not necessarily for more categories within the WCCA's themselves, but for more awards in general. I think Zortic himself chimes in at one point. But yes, I think it's quite pertinent to the discussion at hand. [/url]

I dunno. While popularity/visibility is definitely a key factor in these awards, it's only one of several factors. If it were really a straight-up popularity contest, then why aren't PvP and Penny Arcade nominated in every single possible category? They are far and away more popular than any of the...

But favourite doesn't really work, as that's more of a personal issue. But it *is* a personal issue. The finalists were chosen from those who received the most nominations; and there's absolutely nothing to prevent people from choosing their favourites and absolutely nothing to encourage them to ac...

I have a tiny bone to pick, and it has to do with terminology. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I feel that no matter how important we perceive the WCCA's - and I myself feel they're very important for us as a group - we shouldn't try to dress it up as anything more than what it is, a flat ...

I love it :) I have bookmarked it and plan to follow it forever. Thank! I hope it doesn't dissapoint =) Due to the comic's volatile nature, I'll abstain from criticizing it. However, I suggest you consider using bold text or italics rather than asterisks to emphasize words. Thanks for the suggestio...

I found this quite engrossing. What I really liked was the juxtaposition between humor (provided by demon-y characters Kretch and Twigglesrum; hope to see them again!), and Maggie's more angsty moments. Nicely done. Gotta "third" the comment regarding placing the comic on the first page. Putting th...

I'm really enjoying this. I love the premise, and the artwork is great, as is the writing. You have a great contrast, and use black well. Only problem is, I can see your x's and a gap between the filled in shadow and the outlines sometimes. Just go over the x's you have with black already, and unch...

It's a good comic. You make good use of shadow and contrast, although the opening plot seemed a bit forced and the pace seemed a bit rushed ... ...It also reminds me a lot of "The Maxx" by Sam Keith. Hopefully you liked it or haven't heard of it, otherwise that comment's going to sound offencive an...

This Is Gravity
Hooboy. With license to pitch, pitch I shall: Gravity (or 'This Is Gravity', or 'That Nonsense About Some Girl With A Frog', people can never seem to agree on the title) is a long-form fantasy comic about ... well ... basically anything I feel like writing about. I know the words 'genre-bending' are...

Been lurking for a while, figured I might as well toss my own new-ish comic in the hat:
