Then draw on bigger paper. Give yourself room to allow for your pens not drawing as small as you like. I'm currently using 11x17 paper, ala Marvel/DC. Even then I have to draw fairly small, but I have plenty of room for lots of detail. *laughs* I feel like a doofus, I've been using 5.5 x 8.5, basic...

First off, thanks for the read! ^_^ Starting out, the use of plot holes was very reminiscent of Mixed Myth, which recently ended. The plot dragon is kinda cool, though. Haven't read that one, I'll have to Google it. All this stuff was written back in early '00, so I'm brushing the dust off most of i...

You need to wait more than two hours to get comments, especially on art technique. Have patience. :) Sorry. ^_^;; I'm still used to the model horse boards where folks tend to take one look and come up with a 'I hate it' or 'I like it' more or less instantly. That and it's a really really slow day a...

Request for input on Character Design
Coloring is -very- basic, I'm looking more for input on the clothing, overall appearance, and costume design. Be as brutal as you like, I'm here for the learning experience. And yes, please feel free to mock my guns? everyone else does. ^_~ http://www.martha.net/20030706a.jpg Also... should I be car...

http://cameraangles.keenspace.com/d/20010510.html (first) http://cameraangles.keenspace.com (or, if you prefer, home) Quick sum-up : Roughly 60 strips in the archive. Running storyline + gag-a-day moments, moves between black & white and color. Furry-ish, SciFi-ish, Fantasy-ish, much breaking of the...

Okay, I think I've got everything planned out so that it will match up. I'm going to drop everything after the first unfinished storyline and save it to que-up after I've finished that one. I'm currently working on finishing the first storyline, and will start posting the new strips as of Dec 5th on...

*grin* Sort of. ^_~ My problem is that I have two story arcs that were started and never finished. I would like to finish them, but was unsure how to handle the mechanics so that everything fell back into place in the timeline. I think I've got it worked out, and I've got a few sketches to work on w...

Mmm... good point! Best to nip procrastination in the bud and whatnot. Not that I've ever fallen prey to procrastination. Nope, not ta once. Hey, stop snickering! Now I've only got to find a way to start the comic up again so that the updates to the old (and new) story arcs are predictable. *...

Question on retcons, starting over, and other faux paws *g*
Alright, so I haven't touched my comic in, err, two years? I'm not sure what the etiquette is to starting over. Last time I wandered back from a 'vacation' I reorganized the archive, and started a new storyline (leaving the old one to wither). I'd like to go back and finish both storylines, but I'm ...

On the whole 'bad rep' thing... I've heard that too elsewhere, but it's mostly been a complaint that most of the sites have no comics.<P>My boyfriend went wandering Keenspace after I setup my site and that was his reponse 'WTF? Why are there no comics??' After which he went back to surfing Big Panda...

Updating the pic will depend on the -date- of the pic. As far as I can tell, Keenspace updates the HTML for the image name at the time you signed up for (in my case, midnight central standard time). Until then you can do updates as much as you want, and it will still only pull the comic from the cur...

Frontpage works for me... but I always tweek in notepad! Or my old Turbo Pascal editor... *grin*<P>Most comics can be done easily in Frontpage, but you do have to remember that it codes for -Internet Explorer- and not Netscape. Thus, Netscape users will often see something completely different that ...

I've used both PSP 5, 6, and I think I have 7 in there somewhere too... I think I have too many computers o_O;<P>Anywho, as was stated earlier, Shift-S will work for resizing, but I figured I'd throw in a few more tips I've stumbled across myself. ^_^<P>NEVER make a comic more than 600 pixels wide.....

Well, so far, my log file appears to be non-exisitant. I've finally gotten my Keenspace account (whoho!) and thusly avoided my comic becoming homeless. But now I find myself facing a quandry...<P>I have three comic strips. One is M-F and the other two are T/R. How on earth can I get keenspace to update all three? Would it be easier to plead for two more...
