SeeSaws....

If I've said it once I've said it 1000x. Mirrors mirrors mirrors. I love the 'space, and get 50% of my pageviews from my "lite" website, but webspace is SO cheap these days it's a crime not to have the comic available for everyone at all times. Hopefully KeenPrime will be much more reliable, for tho...

Eric, You can download AutoKeenLite from the gear, and there are a couple other autoupdate scripts out there if you check around... (information is on the ecartoonist group on Yahoo)... I've always advocated mirror sites, and finally moved to a paid host. It's actually MUCH cheaper than I thought it...

I would say it would have to be the characterizations/humor. If you can get the point across, art doesn't really matter that much to me. I'll read a stickman comic if I find the dialogue humorous.

432 comics so far on <a href="http://sparechange.keenspace.com">Spare Change</a>, with a Mon-Sat schedule, and 108 on the M-W-F <a href="http://massproduction.keenspace.com">Mass Production</a>.
So I guess my broken record is that my wife still tolerates my "hobby".

I can't see 'KeenSpace Premium' being viable IMO; the good comics can be too hard to find amost the 2000+ sites out there... A lot of that depends on how much they charge. Would I pay $1 a month to look at the 7 or so Keen comics I read ad-free? Quite possibly. Would I pay more? Unlikely. Another p...

Shoe, I liked D106. It had lots of potential. One could see from the artwork that it wasn't something you could crank out in half an hour, so a person can easily imagine it taking too long. This is why lots of "partnerships" turn into one man shows. Thirteen comics. An infancy for a comic. Just as y...

Of all the "shoulder angels" comics that Dave has made, I like <a href="http://viciouslies.keenspace.com/d/20011024.html">this one</a> the best. Not neccesarily my fave VL, but a classic.

There are a <b>few</b> political webcomics out there, but most are just kinda political (<a href="http://jfiles.keenspace.com">J-Files</a>- not always political, but sometimes.) Aside from the previously mentioned "most webcomics people aren't politically active (possibly due to age)", another reaso...

Hey Dave, you're not getting any richer off of this than any of the rest of us 'strippers are. Go for the stick figures, if that's all you have time for. They were still cool, and valid to the art form, in my eyes.

Dan, Read it, beginning to end. Now, letting it be known I'm not into the anthromorphic scene, it wasn't bad. It isn't typical furry-fare. Your sense of humor showed in several places, especially how the characters felt cheated in the end. (At least from my perspective.) It seems your art style is e...

Dave,
C'mon man. You need to check in with us. Seriously, man, we're woried about you.
And you need to lay off the decaf. Why even drink it if there's no effect? You know, same thing goes for paint thinner.

I don't <b><u>dislike</u></b> any genre of comic enough to avoid it altogether, but I don't currently read any manga comics. But only because a) there are far too many to wade through, especially considering the long-form comic, and b) so much of it seems to be indistinguishable (the "clone" factor ...

It's not a bad comic. Not being a PA fan, I had to go to that site to check if tthe styles really are similar... It <i>is</i> similar, but I could also easily say both comics are similar in style to <a href="http://www.mtv.com/onair/daria/">Daria</a> by the thick lines around the characters. Doesn't...

Well, you only have 3 or 4 comics up, so it's a little hard to make a judgement yet, but here goes.... It doesn't look like the whole comic will be of the two characters sitting on the couch. That's a good thing. But comics that feature a large amount of "L33T" are <b>not</b> comics that I read regu...
