I can't help but Spite you, Secret. The Goblin pianist was such a dumb character obviously trying to be a fan favorite.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the ride is over. Elflad seems to have lost his spark a while ago. It's sad cause I found it really funny, but I guess he just doesn't find the webcomic business worthwhile. Seeya on some forum, Elfy.

Unless of course I'm wrong, in which case I'll see you... here!

Because we can't count on you godless foreigners to do so. I'm sorry? Are you being ironic or sarcastic or are you slagging off foreigners for religious reasons? (Sorry if I've missed a joke; humour doesn't translate well.) While this is an endlessly tempting time to mess with your mind, I'm going ...

I know how people who make that argument feel though. If you see someone who practices guitar hero for more than 30 min a day but doesn't play guitar, you just feel sad. With that time you can learn to play real guitar and make your own music, not just keep a synthesized guitar playing predetermined...

I just beat that game this week. During the last trial I kinda felt like this. "Screw it, I'm always right and you know it. I can tell they're innocent by looking into their eyes! Really!

Re: Webcomics - serious business.

Do you really need to police the world of all those who have different tastes than you? I understand that he was criticizing the storytelling but what's it to you, anyway? I'm not annoyed by the fact that his tastes differ from mine - I'm not even that into Deegan. And I do read Legendary, because ...

Re: Webcomics - serious business.

A little thing I call "not making a living off of my comic." Seriously, are you trying to say that I can't make fun of movies because the video presentation I did for history class sucked? Or I couldn't dislike a band because I don't sing well in the shower? Because that's about how seriously I tak...

Ok, to the comics at hand....

Honestly I have been very bored with the free-form comic jam and await the return of the main comic with much zeal. This latest one had its merits, though.

Still, I'm glad you took some time off of it because it HAD grown a bit stale.

But it would be much less interesting.

Yes, I stole it from Calvin & Hobbes.

The underlying joke was pretty funny, but the delivery needed a bit of polishing. Something wittier than "Seriously, use it." would have been nice.

Either a mentor will come along and tell her that a journey through the wider world is just what she needs, or somehow she will lose everything that made it worthwhile for her to stay.
