Been checking regularly since that last strip about playing the record with cabin fever--today a whole lot of catch-up appeared. Makes me think something happened to my browser and the strip wasn't really gone.
Anyway, hope your health is okay, and see you in AK next summer, maybe.

hiatus
Hey--get better, man. Hope it's something minor like an ulcer, and not serious like being out of coffee!

Well, it looks like fun, but it's too early for me to ride my motorcycle up there, so I guess I'll have to miss it...

fur rondy
Okay, the feb 14 strip was cute, but what's fur rondy? Good day to return on, too. Here in DE, btw, we got a couple inches of snow and today freezing rain, which has coated everything with ice and caused all sorts of disruptions, including school closings, power pole transformer failures, broken tre...

competition for the name
Why, so it is! I'll bet both the camp gal and the eating establishment would enjoy your strip. The camper lady could put a link to the strip on her site and bill your link as a look at the "competition." She seems like a nice person. If you like, I can send her a note of appreciation for her efforts...

We don't have a General section, so I'll just make this a topic.
I lost my link to the strip over the weekend, and when I googled to reconnect, I discovered there's a real Camp Alaska out there! Any relation? It's at http://www.campalaska.com

Alaska and other winters
Someone posted about being from MN and hence not getting all the jokes. I'm from MN and a lot of that stuff in the strip related to winter I can identify with! In fact, we Minnesotans emphasize how bad our winters are so people will stay away and we can have the place to ourselves. So how about some...

hah! so it does! (appear 3x /week) I was going to add that now I was 50% richer than I thought, but I also see that I haven't missed any. Guess I'm loosing my ability to count--and I used to teach math... I was born in TX, btw, so I identify a bit with Earl Welles. --And I just now got the pun in hi...

what I think of the strip and howdy
First: I really enjoy the strip, and was sad to see it change to twice weekly. but I understand how busy folks can get. I'm from Minnesota, too (originally) but I pretty well get all the jokes. My son and his family go to AK every summer (from Greenville, SC) to work at a camp (on the Kenai peninsul...
