You know, some of that land was bought, fair and square. The Manhattans, for instance gave up their title to their ancient lands for a whole ~$50 in trinkets. Then again, their "ancient lands" it was discovered later, had only been moved onto about 50 years prior so who was conning who? The Dutch g...

I would like to take a moment and speak about violence in the Middle East if I can, I know that's a bit of a side step but since it's been brought up in the context of the topic someone I feel should response. There are several factors that ensure that violence in the Middle East will be high, one o...

Ladies and Gentledahim of the assembly thank you for your time. I have considered for some time now our situation, as I am sure everyone else here has. One thing stands out to me as clear. That things as they now stand cannot continue. To believe anything else is to court the very destruction of our...

Given what we've seen I would make it -4 to str and give them either a +2 to Con or Cha. Their magic is not going to translate to well into D&D, but I would push for it being Cha based as it's not a matter of the smarter ones being more powerful. Also poor Quenty proves to me that they can take an u...

I was there. I fought. What should we do? This is what we should do. This is the Long War. It has more in common in with the Cold War then any World War. Like the World Wars, like the Cold War, we can win. We will win. But it will take time. A long time. Never the less, this is what must be done if ...

Actually from what we've seen, they don't have a silimar society to the humanity they're aware of. They humans they know live in fuedal societies where the commoners have little to no recourse. They live in a very libertain republic, which honestly hasn't really occured on Earth either to the best o...

In our our world there's only one specis capable of forming national groups. Yes actually you can cook with it. We used captured Iraqi C4 to make coffee from our MRE packs. C4 requires both heat and pressure to explode. You can stomp a riverdance on it, or light it on fire and barbecue with it, but you can't do both at once unless you want to explain why to the good Lord. C4...
