12) You've played games that aren't even published yet.
I particularly liked the Rifts spin on those lists. For such a potentially-wacky game, there's not enough Rifts humor.

Rifts: The Anything-Goes School of Role Playing
Unknown Armies: The more you know, the more terrified you should be
Call of Cthulu: Character death nearly manadatory, and certainly better than the alternative

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
The sudden scent of a very powerful psychic presence right behind Rex disappears just as suddenly as Jane turns away from the flood of minds and closes herself to the world. She continues on as though nothing happened, taking a few quick steps to catch up to the group as she continues to leaf throug...

Your favorite game setting, and why...
... In ten words or less. Here's mine:

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts OOC
Hey, I've got a rules question for you, Tom. What is the difference between using Mask ISP, and using the Alter Aura ability to "conceal the presence of psychic ability"? I assuming that the latter only applies if someone is sensing you only by using a Sense Aura-type power, while the other hides it...

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
Jane follows along at the rear of the group, watching curiously as the Dog Boy sniffs at the air. It's a little unnerving to watch him track another psychic, even one as dangerous as a PsiStalker. She relaxes slightly when Rex announces that he hasn't found anything yet. Perhaps the famed nose of th...

Re: Today's comic
Does Joel do the whole 'no shoes on the carpet' thing? He doesn't, per say (you'll notice that Sarah still has her shoes on), but Dustin is too much of a gentlemen to feel comfortable walking around the house in his shoes. I imagine Sarah left hers on only because she saw the state of Joel's floors...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
It's been a little while since I posted one of these. Here's a page of werewolves for everybody! I get the urge to draw them from time to time - usually, when I've heard someone talking about their Werewolf LARP characters. Man, I gotta try me that game sometime... http://i125.photobucket.com/albums...

Red Dwarf reference = +2 geek cred! Man, I love that show.... Speaking of which, has anyone ever heard the audio book version of Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers? They got Chris Barrie to read for it, and since he's a wonderfully talented impressionist, it's almost as though they'd gotten the entir...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
After a few weeks hiatus, here's some monsters to get things kicked off again. These are some designs for an idea I've had kicking around my head for a bit. I'm especially fond of the little cyclops girl, though most people like the baby cthulu. http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/Rhukai/Sketchbo...

Re: North Prairie Adventures - Rifts IC
" That sounds like a feasible plan. " Jane says, nodding to the minotaur as she repacks her computer into her knapsack. " I imagine that the five of us will stick together for this? No sense splitting up while there are rogue Stalkers prowlin' around." She is about to say more when the Line Walker s...
Re: Query
Thanks for bringing that up, DragonGirl! I've actually been thinking of having some sort of real-time hang out spot for all of us Weregeeks. My big dilemma was trying to decide what sort of format to use. Kris over at Starslip has been hosting live audio chats on a semi-weekly basis, and they have b...

Re: live-action?
Thanks TH! I was going to make a big deal about the con on my blog, but I haven't been able to find the information for this year's events! (I'd love to, you know, link to the things I'm talking about.) Do you know if details have been posted anywhere? Also, I hope you can make it out, Faolan! It's ...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
Since we're finally seeing more of the Weregeek's shadow form, I can finally post these sketches without giving too much away! I'll let you guys guess which character is which. ;) (Abbie, in rollerskates, doesn't count!) http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p65/Rhukai/Sketchbook%20Sunday/Weregeekforms...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
I haven't had a chance to check out D&D 4th ed yet, but I was in a sort of a fantasy mood, and so here are some gnomes. They are not D&D gnomes, mind you, but the sort of fairy-tale gnome that lives in tiny little houses covered in moss and enjoy a good meal of lightly buttered lily root after a har...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
More animals for this week. This time, it's crows! Our Shadowrun team just recently gained a street-urchin Werecrow, and so I was struck by the urge to draw lots and lots of floofy little black birdies... Ahem. I mean, crows. Sorry, that was my inner bird-nut kicking in. Anyway, our newest team memb...

Re: Sketchbook Sundays!
Yeah, it's a raccoon. I was thinking about how sneaky raccoons actually are for creatures that look like teddy bears, and I was wondering if it was possible to make something so cute look like a sneaky little bugger. I think I may have gone a tad too rattish on that one.
