Okay, here is a few things on Limbaugh: http://www.takebackthemedia.com/rushbusted.html http://www.fair.org/media-outlets/limbaugh.html The latter is a bit older, I will admit, but still has some good points. And I say this: If I am going to listen to any news source, I will listen to one that has i...

In response to previous posts, I have this to say: There was a time that I respected Limbaugh, but I stopped with that respect a long time ago. Why? The guy puts more spin into his stories than a top. Michael Moore is no better. In both cases, these people would use their station in an attempt to pr...

They do make a special "clip" for revolvers. It is called a speed loader, and is basically a ring with the # of holes to accomodate the bullets for a revolver.

There are a couple of Russian pistols that fire 12.3mm shells (derived from 32-gauge shotgun shells) They are the UDAR-1 and UDAR-2. But, since those are in use with Russian personnel, I might recommend the Taurus Raging Bull, a Brazilian revolver that fires not only a .454 Casull round, but can als...

Okay, I have been lurking forever, but, given the nature of this discussion, I have decided to step in: I am personally fed up with the political parties myself. I see no use for them, nor any desire to remain in them. I instead choose to go by my own conscience. I would abolish the death penalty (i...

The Lions are getting the Sagan treatment. (12/6)

I looked at the argument the lion was having with our resident hero, and it seems to me that our hero is subjecting the lions to what can be best described as a Baloney Detector test. Carl Sagan describes the Baloney detector as something every scientist is equipped with, and is used to tell the dif...

I myself have one other beef with organized religion, and that is people who join a religious group solely for "fire insurance", and not care less about the doctrines of a faith. On top of this, I didn't agree with the dogma of many churches. That is the reason I have chosen to walk away from the La...

Nuts. My well worded reply just got eaten! :( Briefly: Diamond and Buckytube production is very similar. I've described Buckyvators to grow nano-tubes. Basically, a Buckyvator works by using nanites to steer carbon atoms into place as the crystal grows. The growth requires certain physical conditio...

Re: Harley-Davidson's don't leak - they mark territory!

It looks like Charlie is having an "OH ****" moment. I wonder what is going to happen to him? Will his new friends take him for a little ride? A biker Tea party? Hmmmm. Uncle Monty is right, the avatar is stored in the profile so you don't need a website for it. Just make it small enough for the sy...

I believe that Jesus himself was skeptical of organized religion. He felt that an organized church would serve to corrupt, and there has been very little to prove him wrong. MSD2200, what you have shown is exactly why I have left organized faith. I got tired of hearing the apologetics and the threat...

Ummm, hello?

I found the comic kinda by accident, but it is still a good comic. I found it the same day I found another webcomic: dominicdeegan.keenspace.com I hope to stick around for a while. This forum seems dusty.

I vote that we keep religion out of this. I've been getting enough of that from the UTLT forum. One question? Given the relative hardness of diamond, isn't it difficult to carve the diamond into the shapes needed for certain functions? Forgive me if I sound somewhat dense when I ask, but how would o...

YES!! Thank you, David!! I find that moderation itself can matter in virtually everything? Too much food? You get fat. Too much sex? STD city. Too much to drink? Killer hangover and DUI if you get really stupid. Too much Religion? You end up perverting the tenets of that which you live by, and that ...

Re: Location for odds information?

Well, no, I didn't get the equation from a movie. I found it on the internet, in several locations, while looking for another similar equation I had in an old college textbook. Where on the Internet did you find it? The Institute for Creation "Research?" Bob Jones "University?" Kent Hovind? You're ...
