It may be the hardest part, but it's definately the most fun - if my experience thusfar with Hazard Pay's "Ask a Character" is any indication.
Way to go, this sounds awesome! I'll try to think of a question for you, too.

I remember reading some of it, back when it was still up. Mostly, I remember the part at the beginning, in an apartment building in Vancouver, where a door is knocked and the guy who sticks his head out looked waaaaaaaay too much like Mike, and I was laughing for a week. Aaaaaaaaaanyway....

Hey Jops, Mike here. EM's partner in crime. Just wanted to say that I liked the new page! Ya got some nice lighting effects with the jeep's lamps, especially that backlit effect on panel 2. Aslo, that is one uuuuugly-lookin' dog. Reminds me of that scene with the Trex from Jurassic Park: "Faster, fa...

We are new, too - been online since around the middle of July. We started the comic for the purpose of improving our art, and so we welcome any and all comments on what we have so far (which will be 25 full-colour pages as of later today). Hazard Pay is about an army brat in 1980's Cold-War Germany ...

Yeah, I guess so. I don't really see how one who was at least reasonably interested in the internet wouldn't have Flash installed on their computer in the first place, though. I guess a lot of websites use it badly and people would rather not be bothered with the blinky stupid stuff. In other news, ...

I don't really understand why everyone seems to be so down on Flash all the time. I've never, ever had a problem with reading a webcomic that uses Flash (specifically, I guess I'm talking about Alpha-Shade - and they seem to get a lot of flak for using Flash, too). I don't use Flash myself because I...

I've actually been reading and enjoying your comic for quite some time... I found you through Buzzcomix several months ago. I find it very "different" from a lot of the other stuff I've read out there, and I like it a lot. I like a lot of the fantasy elements you've introduced and the way they're im...

that and he's a bit of a weeabo amongst furries, both because of his apparently controversial political views (I can't seem to find anything wrong with what he does or the messages he puts out through his comics... meh) plus of course his porn and comic which more than once has touched the theme of...

Thanks guys, you're very kind, and I'm glad you like what we have so far. We're working as hard as we can on any and all anatomy issues (these things can only improve from study and practice) and shading. I've chosen to use a completely new technique that I wasn't familliar with at all before (again...

Like Joel Fagin said, it's easy to see how it could be a stylistic thing. If there were a few other (caucasian) people next to her, it'd probably be easier to tell. Very true. Everyone else in the comic is Whitey McWhiterson so I think the fact that it doesn't come across has more to do with my ina...

Thanks very much for your comment, we really appreciate the feedback. The main purpose of starting this comic was actually to improve our art skills and anatomy is still one of the places where I'm weakest. I would like to think it's improved a lot since we started a few months ago - but it still ha...

Comic Pitch: Hazard Pay
Hi all! This is the first pitch for the first sequential art project we have ever attempted, and it is a longform serious comic. The setting is coldwar Germany, and the story follows the exploits of a young army brat and her first foray into the local black market. http://www.lurkingfish.com/misc/pa...

Is she Asian? The eyes look it but I'm wondering if it's stylistic. - Joel Fagin :o You're seriously the first person to pick up on that! Her background involves one asian parent, yes. I think people don't see it because the comic is in colour and she's dyed her hair blonde and the assumption is, o...
