In another thread, Ray Radlein had this to say: He's taken off his glasses. Does anyone else think that this will be followed by his removal of that ludicrous wig and absurd outfit? And if so, what will he look like underneath his costume? No one has yet noted that in today's strip, April 4th, in th...

My vote? He stays. The reasons: He risked his life to try to rescue Shanna's mom from the General. Granted, he did so in a horribly dangerous, foolish way. BUT... he didn't equivocate, waver... he backed up Katherine's play in the best way he knew how. Immediately, smoothly. His appreciation of Scie...

Khan: I never forget a face... I saw you in the hundreds of crew we dragged to the detention area after we gassed you unconsious. I remember them, all 425 (not counting those who were on the Bridge). I *have* the superior intellect.

Actually I think the whole gold/latinum thing was perfectly OK. Consider: in the 24th century DS9-era, gold itself is a near-worthless thing you suspend the latinum in. The reason gold isn't valuable is replicators. Replicators, common in the 24th century, aren't necessarily common in the 22nd centu...

Definetly. It has the Fans themselves, immersed in fandom, and just at the start of their quest without giving away any spoilers.

My guess, judging from Rumi's expression watching Alisin party, followed by Rumi's decisive drink, is that Rumi is going to try to out-party Alisin.
We know Rumi considers Alisin a rival... they're not going to fight each other with fists and kicks, because doing so would lose Rikk's respect.
W...

Clearly I was thinking too small in my earlier post! Consider the significance of recent developments: It's not just SATAN LARPers, it's Saur-on fans, Siren cultists and Sor-ren dressing Startec fans. Clearly, I was wrong when I hypothesized the SATAN rpg publishers were behind this. This is bigger ...

OK, this isn't "just" a parody of LOTR. The characters sense what's going on. It's too similar to be a co-incidence. The author of this comic is fair about presenting clues to puzzles as things develop (albeit clever enough to suprise us at the same time).
So, the big question is: Who or what or ...

Shanna's position is fully understandable. Shell shock. Too much too fast. Reality redefined several times in a single hour. Aftereffects of drugs. She's had a hard week, needs time to heal.

That's easy. I'd set it to view the recent past of the mysterious guy who came to show me the time-viewer. How'd he get a time machine? Why did he bring it to ME? The answers to THOSE questions would be very illuminating. He must have a motive, and I don't like being used as a pawn. Even if his moti...

>The strip wouldn't work from my Netscape browser, but it works from Internet Explorer. Go figure.
That must be because Rikk's Windoze95 nano-virus infection is effecting the strip.
Seriously though, I'm really worried about Rikk's infection. Even his hair is pixilated! Rikk can't fly... or at least he hasn't yet been revealed to be able to fly. Look at that panel more closely- I was fooled too. It's from the POV of Jones on his hover-platform. Rikk isn't hovering above Will, he's sprawled on the catwalk behind him.

C + D are NOT irrelevant! No way. It is exceedingly relevant. Ender Wiggin was prevented from making a moral choice because he was tricked. He spent hundreds of years (if you count relatavistic time) repenting for the genocide he was manipulated into committing. His ideas as speaker for the dead res...

What's about to happen? My guess:
Agent Jones' actions today indicated that not only was he afraid that his secret wish would be bad if it were furfilled, but that he knows exactly what it is "It's starting!" I REALLY liked seeing different artist's perspectives on the characters we know and love. I felt that this diversity mirrored fandom's many aspects. Hi Bellebet,
Glad to hear you are considering giving the Realms a chance. The key thing to remember about Realms events is that different events can be widely different from each other, so if you're only going to go to a few it's a good idea to know what you like and go for that thing.
