Oooh, I lovuh, lovuh, love the bold outlines and the grescaling. It works well with your comic. But I dont like the uh....little sketchies...inside the art. The lines? I think those'd look better blurred slightly or something of the like. That's what I think, anyway. *shrug* It looks just a little m...

I love this comic. The humor is very swwet and doesn't have any sharp edges. I epsecially like how the witch character isn't used as a plot device. She's just a normal person, and that's seems to be the main focus. Very good. I haven't been able to read all of it yet but what I've seen is well writt...

English, unless ya are going to target your work to Japanese/japanese speaking people. I mean, not talking about you here, but some people throw in random japanese stuff because it's "frikkin cool". And hey, some of it is, but and english comic with random japaneseness in it. No no. Just a pet peeve...

Yeah, I know the racoon's tail is messed up. ^_^;; I'll have to fix it this weekend or something. As for the method I used. Well, I had beed shrinking the lineart, then coloring. Instead, this time, I colored, then shrinked the lineart. After that, I used a one pixel pencil to cover any white spots ...

Well, since the published Manga is so popular, whether cliche or not, then that means it works . People see this great success and want to imitate it. I'm not saying that all webmanga is done by people who are greedy, they just want to try something that they know works. That's what I see, anyway. *...

Help with lineart when coloring?
Okay, here's my query. I decided to start coloring my comic. MOD EDIT: http://Gbc.comicgenesis.com (fixed the link) I don't have a strictly coloring question per se, I can do that well if I take my time, This one was rushed; My question is about those funky with lines/dots that around you line art w...

I'll draw one nostril as a little line or curve with the nose. Not giant hole...That looks wierd on a cartoon. But those one stroke noses with no nostrils( anime-like) look wierd too. So I choose a middle ground. Unless I'm trying to be super realistic, or something...which I never am. But I don't h...

Well, The only bad thing I can say is that he looks more sad or depressed than creepy. ^_^;; Do you color? If you do maybe you can give him a dark, washed-out, colory look or something. If that makes sense, to make it creepyish. But, ah, beside that it's great! I admire any one who can do ink width ...

Oh..wow...where to begin...? Speech Bubbles: The speech bubbles should be done in photoshop, or even the MS paint circle/square/etc tool would be an improvement. Never do a speech bubble by hand or mouse unless you are Gooo~oood. with a capital G. General Appearance: The overall look need big improv...

I think the first style more bold. It makes the characters look good, I love the thickish lines, without making them look detached from the background. And it takes you 5 times as long? No, No, i don't think it's a good idea to color the lines. The colored lines make the bold lines that I like dissa...
