Gutter space: make each frame actually separate and give a liiiiittle room on the side of the comic so it's not such a jarring transition. Oh, and go to BlamBot for some free fonts. Badaboom! is excellent for sound effects. I don't really follow what's happening in that last page of yours, but it ma...

Well, if all you do is scan your art it'll probably be kind of huge. You may not notice though, because the image you see on the screen is resized (if you're in Photoshop, look at the top of the picture's window and it'll have file name and percentage of full size, so if it says 100% then it is the ...

My fist comic is fine, My other comic, World Domination, has officially been abandoned due to the fact that it's has been a single white page with a bit of text and a crappy picture for months, dispite seeking help when the problems first started. Which problems that first started are you talking a...

They don't really look like comic book pages, so equating them to panels as That Guy did is fairly accurate... I would highly recommend you go read a bunch of comics and get some ideas about presentation, pacing, use of color, etc. It isn't a whole lot to look at right now, but everybody's gotta sta...

Well, I've tried numerous times (over the past few months), but I can't seem to get the sign-up to work! It just re-loads the page. I checked to see if the sign-up even went through, and it says it didn't ^^; I'm at a loss of what to do now. When mine kept reloading I realized that my sample comic ...

Blambot is awesome - I have a ton (read: about 20?) of fonts from there and I'd recommend Letter-O-Matic! or AnimeAce for comic fonts (both are free, though they do also sell "pro" fonts at blambot). If you can't figure out how to install it, I can walk you through it (it's really easy). Oh, and Bad...

Some definitions for you! :D Sites is about a rough gauge of how many different folks are visiting (visits and sites should be close in number). Hits will usually be huge but counts all kinds of requests to the server so it lies! It doesn't tell you how many visitors you actually had. And I have no...

Just to let you know, most of your problems will never require a Full Update. It's a very heavy load on the CG Servers, and most of the time a Manual Update is what you want. And usually a good Index Update is all you need. Yeah - I just remember reading somewhere (I think in the Wiki tutorial?) th...

Just so you know in the future, it does usually help to tell us what your site is so we can go look. However, and bear in mind that I'm very new too, I think your problem is that you made changes but you didn't run a manual update so none of your changes are reflected on your site. So I would sugges...

The nonstandard bit means it's widely used, but hasn't gained official acceptance by scholars. Yup! Nonstandard also means "things that make you look bad in the US corporate world". Is it fair? Heck no. Is it reality? You betcha. Like the word "irregardless" which does technically exist as a word, ...

If you need some pictures for models, just look around the internet. I dunno how old you are, so things like Suicide Girls and DOMAI may be out for you (they're porn sites, but they do mostly pin-up type photos and are great for getting normal poses but having nude models so you can learn the body s...

Re: Go ahead...rip my art apart...
I want the style RIPPED APART. Okay! I'm going to take that to mean that you won't be morbidly offended that I drew on top of it to illustrate my point. Here is the general critique: http://img367.imageshack.us/img367/3032/stylecritiquetf4.jpg 1. Atmospheric perspective. Go outside and look at the ...

I think it looks better, though I'm not sure why the angled lines on some of your boxes turned out blocky... are you doing the Stroke with the pencil or the brush? The image is a lot clearer now, and the next step I'd recommend is some shading on the characters to give them a little volume, or addin...
