Re: general or partial CG server outage? WANTED: server status
Just a quick question, but can someone please explain to me the point of the upload queue? I'm sure it has its reasons, but the fact that it's what's holding our sites back is what frustrates me. All those ***tags in your indextemplate need to be translated into the more complicated html. Everyone'...

Re: general or partial CG server outage? WANTED: server status
So....And I ask this only because I'm technologically inept...Since the count on the upload site is up to 6900, all it's gonna take now is some time for uploads to finish, and everything should be back to normal? That's the number of comics waiting in line to be updated. A number I've only seen get...

Re: So apparently the siteadmin isn't updating...
I threw together a temporary, alternate site for my comic, and (seeing as I'm of the brave ilk) I've tried to edit my public index file to point folks to said alternate site. Every time I go to save the changes, though, I get a permission error. Is there a way to edit index.html that I'm not aware ...

Re: So apparently the siteadmin isn't updating...
Yeah, I did that at first too, and felt the same way. Then I created a nicer display page that matches my comic's site and put that up on my other website, with an obvious link to it at the top of the comic's main page. I'm sure there must be places that offer free websites with limited space if you...

Re: So apparently the siteadmin isn't updating...
If you're brave you can edit the public index file to let your readers know the situation, and to point them to an alternate source for the new comics.

Re: Heroes Season 3
I'm not convinced she's dead. I mean sure they shatter her body. but they show that shard containing her eye and she's crying. Either they went for spooky dramatics or its saying she's not out of the picture yet. Apparently, the writers have said they intended for the "wink" (or whatever that was) ...

Re: Social sites....worth it?
Twitter does seem to be a good thing for webcartoonists to do. People like it. When my comics start running again I'll get on board with Twitter. As for Facebook and Myspace, I wouldn't bother. Especially if you don't like it anyway. I like Facebook... but I like it for the connection to my own frie...

Gunnerkrigg Court is my favorite...
I'll also recommend Lackadaisy Cats: http://lackadaisy.foxprints.com/
Cats and speakeasies. Infrequent, yet awesome updates.
Oh, and Today Nothing Happened: http://www.shazzbaa.com/
A good journal comic by someone I know.

Know what'd be fun? If Sylar and Ando teamed up to go save everyone.

Still playing with this character design. http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h16/SergeXIII/Hereshecomes.jpg I'm not liking the mask. I was going for the look of a vizored helmet but this looks like a beak. Maybe I'll try the bottom half of it next time. Actually... I think the beak thing is kinda co...

Re: Heroes Season 3
She'd have to get all dismembered and decapitated in the process... otherwise, once the train had passed over, even if she technically died, if the pieces were still there, and even if some weren't, she'd still heal and come back to life again. If you really want to kill her, you'd have to get creat...
