hehehe And now we see the reason WHY this happened!

It's sad but if we run a space heater in our den during the winter, we have to be careful not to turn it up too high or we have the power go out in half the house!

Sure, I can go ahead and post! :) I'd guess that Omega doesn't know about the barge situation yet, so the Wolfstar will be coming in to assist and will need to be warned off or informed of what's about to happen. Just tell me who gets the message to him and send me a note with what's said if you wan...

Sounds like you've got the "disarming the self-destruct" thing well in hand, then, Sharuuk. :) Shall the rest of us be getting everyone away from the barge in the meantime?

Well, Omega's next action would be to get Ben to the prison barge area, see if Thorkelgdt and his merry men can lend a hand in any way, and offer any other assistance. Since there's a lot of characters at the scene, we may want to list other characters' intentions here so we can put together a more ...

Well, it's been quiet on here... too quiet... <_< >_> Sorry I haven't posted in a while, gang... things have been quite busy lately. I'm a bit confused, too, as to where we are headed with the plot. Since the Wolfstar is getting ready to land at the prison barge area, maybe we need to get a quick up...

Well, the computer is one that I bought from work after it was replaced by a newer one. Unfortunately, no one kept up with the original CDs or software, so I'm pretty much on my own. Let me try the sugegstions you offered, Solarfox, and if they don't work we'll see where we go from there. :) I'll ad...

I've tried opening the files in IE, but for some reason they won't load. Maybe I'll have to try later when I get home and get to a different computer. But, hey, as long as somebody can get these to work, we've got a backup.

Sorry, NydaLynn... the computer won't "see" the other files in anything... *sigh* :( And Calbeck, thanks for the link! I'll try making the boot disk and see if that works. I skimmed through the link but I didn't find anything that specifically addressed the problem I'm having. Maybe the boot disk wi...

Windows 98 help needed

Sorry to post this on here, but I am really in a bind and I know we have a lot of experienced people on here. I have tried to fix this problem and searched the web repeatedly for answers, but I have come up with nada. I am trying to install Mechwarrior 2 on a Windows 98 computer. However, the comput...

Well, I hope I'm not starting a panic or anything... I just want us to be prepared because things are at a potentially volatile point and there's a lot of great text here at stake. Fusion, do you have a solid copy of the entire RP thread? If so, let me know what format it is in, etc., and send me a ...

So, Ralph is no longer running the forums. Gang, for all the run-ins and complaints I've had about Ralph, I can't believe they decided to do this. With that being said, a thought occurs to me. Should Ralph decide to move his comics elsewhere or should the forums end up being deleted, etc., do we hav...

Well, I was shocked and surprised to read this and I must say I'm disappointed with the decision. Ralph has been abrasive, rude, and sometimes unfair, I believe, but in my opinion no one is forced to be here. If they don't like the way Ralph runs the forum then they can leave. I believe Ralph has do...

From a biology standpoint, I think I can contribute some factual answers to some of the questions raised here. And that you did... in earnest! Thank you! :) If one wanted to set the limit for abortion at 22 weeks, as when (a) there is brain activity, and (b) there is a bare potential for survival o...

Syrryxys sauntered into view. “Well, that was outstandingly unproductive. Who is in charge of this Terrazian nut cluster?” hahaha  Friskella: "Mmmm... Terrazian Nut Clusters... my favorite.
