It's been about 4 weeks (I almost think it's been 5) since I registered for a site. I've recieved confirmation of the site's existence, I'll post the url in a second, but I still have yet to recieve a password. Have I missed something in the confirmation emails or do I need to reregister? Here's the...

My html is already prepared to have an ad banner at the top of every page (Basically I designed it so that the top and left colum of every page is identical). I put the adspace in with an <a href="x"><img src="x.jpg"></a> set. I can just remove all that and drop in ***advertisement***? I really hope...

Ah. So it doesn't mean I can have free reign of my html? Or can I do as I please so long as I lable the comics a certain way? Much confusion. I'll just find out how it works when my site admin password arrives. It amuses me greatly that for the next two weeks until that password comes in the mail, t...

You might also check out some of the tutorials at webmonkey.com or google 'w3c tutorial' plus whatever sort of script or code you're investigating. w3c tutorial dual image flip, for instance, yields a particularly specific and useful tutorial on a certain javaScript function. Are you using internal ...

Wow, that's some REALLY good news. However, I know that the CGen... electronic guardian angle of sorts requires 3 updates within a certain period of time after one gets one's account up and running. If I'm manually updating, will that still count? Thanks a bunch. This might actually mean I get to ke...

Unless my spam folder cleared itself out recently, there's nothing from CGen there. Can the email be resent or do I need to register again?

I tracked down the Cox website, but I couldn't figure out how to check against gmail or anything. Is there a certain part of the wiki or cadet packet that explains this process?

I went and found what I assume to be the Cox Webmail site, but I don't have an address with that service. Is there a way to find out if one is on some sort of spammer black list, or do I just write them an email? I suppose the real question is, why am I trying to debug a situation beyond my control ...

I did wait 24 hours. In fact, I've waited about 144 hours. It hasn't been a week yet, but how long should I wait before I try again?

Actually I'm having the same difficulty.

I believe I used my gmail account, given all the warnings against aol. I had to register a different name for the forums. The username I tried to register a site under is HeavyWater, though I'm not certain about the capitalizations.

The main reasoning for the layout had to do with the artist. He wanted to have the index page be a news page, followed by a teaser for the current episode (he has some obsession with wallpapers and such, I don't ask), followed by whatever page is a work in progress, followed by the actual episode ar...

The filler image will now be spelled correctly until the site moves to the CGen servers wherein the design must be altered to fit in such a way as to eliminate future useage of said filler images.

Thank you.

Episodes equals multiple images. The comic isn't laid out in panels like Penny Arcade, it's more like one large image like MegaTokyo.

Basically, my design just won't work with this system, so I'll have to cut it to pieces.

Site layout and navigation conflict (long exposition)

I feel I should explain my site's design concept before my question can make sense. Scroll to the bottom for the question itself. Sorry for excessiveness. A test version of the site can be viewed on my school's student server until I graduate in a week: http://astro.armstrong.edu/~frankljo (It uses ...

Sweet. My inbox had the account confirmation code in it, which I promptly input, but then I couldn't login with what I thought was my username. Funny thing, it prompted me for a password but I don't remember having made a password. I submitted a change in password though, so with any luck it will wo...

<Insert awkward newb salutation here>, I'd imagine every question I need to ask has already been answered a few times over, but I don't know that I could read the entire 45 pages of this thread and not devolve into some sort of Lovcraftian beast. As evidenced by my posting here, I've managed to join...
