Those swords look rather home-built, or at least heavily repaired. I tried my hand at making some foam swords a while back. All I got out of it was a broken oak dowel and my sister's badly bruised wrist.

The new Slinky I got for Christmas (which I only just took out of its box) is not only ever so slightly smaller and shorter than my old one, but also seems to be made of a completely different metal. It doesn't smell like galvy at all...

Indeed, especially the one in the lower left-hand corner. That face reminds me of Disney back when they didn't continually throw out schlock just to pay the bills (meaning sometime last century). Very expressive.
