I was right the first time. A black dress just isn't the same on black fur.

Now, red, on the other hand, would look great. But it wouldn't work very well in a grayscale comic.

Hmm...

Somehow, a black dress loses a bit of its impact when one's fur is darker than the dress.

(But then, I'm straight, so I might need to see one of the lady skunks in the dress to be sure.)

Honestly, if a webcomic progresses faster than Sabrina Online, I can't bring myself to complain.
