Actually, as it approached the speed of light, the kinetic energy would begin contributing to its mass via E=MC^2. As its mass increased, more energy would be required to accelerate it, adding further to its mass... and then we get to the whole problem of "Why can't we ever hit the speed of light"....

And I do agree with the 'fair' market idea. You need some laws, some government regulation to keep the big from eating up the small and making a homogenic market. For the rest you'll want minimal government interference in the market though.
