Siteadmin problems

I realise there has been a previous post but I could not respond to it to say that I had the same problem. When I try to log in (and it has been a while since I updated my comic but while I thought at first that was my problem now I'm not sure) I get : "Your browser did not return the expected respo...

It doesn't give one. on SmartFTP it popped up the window as if it had just logged me into something... but it has no files and doesn't even say logged in. I figured it was just SmartFTP, which I've had problems with in the past so I changed to filezilla and when I tried logging in I got a "login aut...

besides deciding FTP is being rude to me, I've figured on the plain fact that I've managed to forget my stuff between now and when I used it last. I had it written down somewhere... but then I moved... four times. Ouch. Oh! Maybe its with the comics.

is it signifigant that I, appearantly, can't log into my FTP either? I thought maybe I had forgotten my things but I'm pretty certain I've got them down right. Obviously I'll triple check the information, but just in case its important.

Logged back in got the same (the variant spelling offered for me is the exact same spelling I put in: spirenteh) Tried copy and p...

I've been away from my comic for... oh... almost a year, I know, bad me. But I come back and there's new updates and its asking for comic login, which was forum username before, so I put in my forum user name after logging into the forum itself and it pops up and tells me that I'm not valid. But I a...

Question About Public File

Just to make sure... I never ever alter anything in the public file unless I am deleting a comic, correct? I'm asking because I still can't find a solution to my button problem and have been trying to look at everything to figure it out. The problem is that the buttons aren't coming up despite the i...

I actually have twenty... erm... *checks* about thirty one comics on it. The problem started when I tried to add a character page to the comic. I even tried deleted all signs of the character page but the buttons still wouldn't show up properly. I've also deleted and re loaded the buttons... I can't...

It sounds some what similar to my button problem... I've got the proper tags and the proper images but the tags won't connect between the images and themselves so they come out just as normal links. I know your problem is a lot worse, just they are similar because they both include tags and the fact...

I tried that as you suggest but to no luck.

Replacing the images would automatically change the images on my site with no need to do an update of some kind, correct?

Button Problem Update:

I've been fiddling around and still no luck. I even completely removed the character link and the buttons stayed the same. I'd say it's starting to frustrate me but I've been frustrated with it for days.

I'm still trying other things and if they work I'll let you know...

I spotted the no steal as well. If you have a new webcomic sometimes the buttons don't come up because... *thinks really hard to when she first got the comic* sometimes they don't show up until your fifth or sixth update... I think that's what I read. I know other webcomicers I read don't have the p...

I have checked, the names are correct and when I opened the links you provided in a new window my button popped up! ^^ But the links are still normal links *checks again to see if there was a change* no, they are still normal links. Thanks for trying though.

Button Problem After Adding A Character Profile Page

I have searched through the forums already and have yet to find an answer to my question, yet most webcomicers seem to have it all worked out. When I first started my webcomic (hiakuma, please ignore the messy art) I uploaded buttons (I believe they are called buttons, forgive me if I'm wrong) for t...

Can clogs fix themselves in this case, or do they need manual work? I can't imagine how much work it would take if someone had to go and untangle something or update everything one by one...
