I can just see in the next panel RH has a German Shepard burst through the door, talking in a stilted German accent.

If she was going for fake, the Dolly Parton look would have been a much better fashion choice than Phyllis Diller. I guess the shopping trip was hair raising enough without having falsies to contend with.

My guess is she is laying on the French schtick just to jack up the prices of her wigs. She probably isn't even purebred;)

At the risk of sounding like a movie nerd, the Princess Bride is a classic. Andre the Giant was the best in it.

I think it would be funny if the poodle wore a wig and was as bald as Hortense underneath. Take that, Frenchie!
