Darker one it is.

I've redone my archives in the manner I changed the strip here.

Thanks for the feedback!

I call myself an illustrator. Cartoonist doesn't bother me though. Of you can just go with the general label; artist. Although for some reason when you say you're an artist and they find out you "only" do cartoons, the reaction can be irritating. Illustrator is just vague enough it's like saying art...

Okay. I adjusted all the strips increasing the contrast by 25 which made the lines darker and hopefully cut down on the fuzzy.

And I'll keep the coma thing in mind in the future.

Thanks again.

I like the darker version, especially when compared to the original. A question, did you adjust the contrast on the strip while it was at that size or did you do it for your original scan and then shrink it down? I don't see any of the jaggedness you're describing, but if you work on the scan when ...

Interesting comments. Thanks for the help. Clearly there is a difference of opinion here. I did notice that the way I have it now the "black" areas are actually NOT "black." They are almost a dark blue or something, so I started fooling around with contrast to see if darkening the linework would mak...

Once again proving that Free Online Translations are NOT very trustworthy. Still, for those who don't know any Spanish like me, here is a mediocre trans. blackaby ~ Crits! Good, good. :D I see exactly what you are saying. I'm still trying to get comfortable writting in this format. Generally I write verbose fiction in novel form. Chopping down the diction and trying to tighten things up is proving harder then I remembered it being when I did comics a...

Scanning so the lines are not "fuzzy"

It's been mentioned by some people that my comic looks "fuzzy" Here is an example: http://castlebuilder.comicgenesis.com/comics/20051005.jpg This is what I currently do: My scanner has settings like Illustration, Color Photo, b/w photo, etc. I've been scanning using the illustration setting, at 300 ...

Hey all, thanks for the kind words. I appreciate your taking the time to check out my comic and then letting me know what you thought. corgan_dane ~ You made my mouth drop when you said you'd pay for a book of stips. IMO That's the best compliment a cartoonist can get. HOPEFULLY one day I'll be able...

A FUN Little Game

Especially for those of you who don't have the money to buy Wow of CoH etc.

NOTE: Turn your volume up LOUD before you start playing. There are some unintentional sound effects that are really soft.

You could spritz fart-spray (available at your local Spencers or other gag gift shop) into the tube after one kid passes, so the next kid blames the one in front.

Ideas for a Haunted House?

I'm putting together a dark tunnel of horror for about 75 kids for a halloween party. The idea is several refrigerator boxes on end that they have to crawl through blind folded. I am trying to think up things to glue onto the bottom of the tunnel or hang from the ceiling that would be "creepy." Any ...
