Well, nobody replied, so I will answer my own question. I changed my domain to a different registrar, and everything's fine! I didn't have to ask CG to change anything. The domain still goes to my CG comic.

I might transfer my domain name to a new, cheaper registrar. One consideration about whether I will do this is the concern that it might cause work for the CG administrators. You missed my comic. I have two stickmen as characters -- Haboo Sillyface and Haboo Soilyface. Other characters are more fully formed -- I basically adapted the art style to the fact that I have very limited drawing ability! But I think I've given my stick figures some personality.

The big surprise to me has been how Haboo Soilyface has tended to upstage the two main characters -- Luna and the Reactor. What started as a squiggle has taken on a life and personality of his own and may well run away with the strip when I get around to drawing some of my already-written storylines...
