hello again, thanks for all your help guys, I think I have it working now.

I moved my divs down and magically the background image showed up..I guess it was feeling a little claustrophobic?

Weird thing just happened..I right-clicked on my page and went to "View background image", and got the red square. When I hit back, the red square was there in the corner of the homepage. But when I reloaded the page, it disappeared.
