It's late in the post but.... Considering the cultural climate in this day and age, there's no doubt in my mind that this guy knew he would or even counted on offending a whole lot of people with this stunt. Thing is he didn't care. In my book, that makes him a d-bag. (as others have said) I am alwa...

I've never read your comic but I'm always happy to hear about someone's success or milestone, especially in such a mind-numbing field as webcomicing. Woot on three years running!

I don't see what all the fuss is about the heat and the sun. Sure, they tell you that you'll get skin cancer and heatstroke if you stay in the hot sun too long but that's not true at all. It's a government coverup. They try to make you beleive that the sun does that to you so you'll have to pay high...

Yeah, I know lots of religious people with great senses of humor. It's just that they hold certain things as off-limits or inapropriate for humor.
Hooray moderation! Boo, creepy foot doctor!

Btw, Jin, funny comic. And catchy art style. :)

but you seem to think that everyone elses should be too. screw that. Well sure, that's what I think. I think we can do better than being dileberately offensive or edgy for a cheap laugh. But of course, nobody is obligated to listen to me. :D I just wanted to get a seldom heard perspective out there...

Re: Limits...

I'm not sure you understand why free speech is actually important. You couldn't make your comic without it. Well free speech is important, yeah. However, out of control, unmittigated, irresponsible speech is far far over rated. I'm sure others agree... I don't see you doing your part to curtail suc...

I'm not sure that I ever wrote a joke that was original. However, timing and context usually differ. I read in a book: "Anybody who beleives they're going to come up with a fresh, original plot, a story that's never been told before, leads a far-too-rich fantasy life." -Fiction Writing Demystified ...

Yep, because then we can downplay and ignore major issues all the time simply because we used "better" judgement and decided to tip-toe around it rather than spark question or draw attention! If someone cannot express something because they worry of it's impact, or is living in fear of expre...

Is very dificult for me to stay humorus when I make a political point in my comic because I'm always so angry and disgusted with the people I'm satirizing. But yeah, I agree, a humorous spin is better than a sardonic political jab.

It doesn't break down taboos, it just makes people argue about them more. :P

For my plotlines, I start with a vague overall concept and/or an overal goal for each character, and then I make up everything else up as I go along. The characters annoying each other in various ways is what mostly moves the plot I have no main plot in my comic; my comic is projected to be made up ...

I'm of the opinion that if it is taken too seriously, it deserves to be satarized. because without pressing the button, humor will become nothing more than jokes from "Hanna Montana" and other assorted rot on the Disney Channel There are certain things in the world that have to be taken very seriou...

For me there are two main things that should not be joked about: 1. Leave all religions alone. All joking like this does is make a whole darn bunch of people angry and spreads conflict. The world would be a much kinder and more peaceful place if people would just live and let live with this sort of ...

Is it possible to "href" images stored in the workspace/images or public/images folder into the code of a seperate web page? If so, how is this done?
