Question.... why would Uncle Jay be driving in the winter while it's snowing with the top down? I can't imagine melted snow being very good for the inside of such a lovely car.

I didn't think he was trying to "buy" her back with roses. I saw it as he was just getting her attention. Trying to make her see he was willing to go the extra mile to get her attention. I thought it was sweet even though I despise roses.
