They have their ups and downs. PS has better layer interface and options and I just plain like some of PSP's tools better. On my computer at least the smudge and distortion set all work much faster. PS has better batch process system and PSP has better compression algorithms. Really, if you've got a...

I'm interested. Haven't read much but I like the colorful style. What's the process here? What program? Prefabs or custom made stuff? The expressions are a little stiff, do you have them face rigged or mesh deformed or...? At least you rendered shadows. That's more than some 3d comics bother to do, ...

If I remember the thread correctly, she said fame after a bunch of other people had come up with some awful suggestions. B can be modest... But I can't. I want more comics, so start drawing. Yourself if this comet thing doesn't work out either. I demand it. Now. 8-) EDT: There's a page with the titl...

Someone's got to make a comic like this on purpose. The real point of the site will just to have a misc. art account, like deviant art, only framed as a webcomic, so that the site itself because kind of an ironic little statement on the medium. (And no, I don't think Vas already thought of this) Chr...

He wishes it were just drinking and driving. He supposedly also said some things about the jews being responsible for all the wars (shady traffic cops they have in LA), and I said "histories" because his dad is apparently a holocaust denier. But he's not a good example, I have to say "supposedly" li...

I have to agree and disagree with the above. I wouldn't bother with line work, we need more comics without it, especially since it's so easy in flash. Maybe just a single secondary shading color will help define objects more. I do have to add 1 vote to a new interface though, as much as I like flash...

It's kind of funny, I think chugworth could actually use more nudity, but that's just me... Actually I think this thread could have been okay if the first post were simply presented differently. "Let's have a conversational study on the subject of celebrity in webcomics." Then we could draw parallel...

There's already a minor precedent for the idea of balancing text pages with drawings here and there. The author of "Everything Jake" was for the longest time just writing out all his comics in narrative form. He always seemed to struggle with the art. He could draw characters well, but that's all he...

I'm such a perfectionist that I don't even bother to draw my comic. :P Well, back when I was, I would actually draw 10-20 pages at once so that they'd all have a coherent look to them, but of course I could only update every few months doing that, another reason for that one being cancelled. But the...

Yeesh, someome asking for guest spots that actually has a reeeally substantial archive. Took me a while, but I actually read it. Anyway, are you requesting actual strips, or just art relating to the comic? I liked a few moments (though I fear you'll already be get 11 squirrel comics and 1 coffee hun...

I don't think a character needs to be explained in the very first page that they are seen, mystery isn't a bad thing, but I wonder if the comic shouldn't have been pitched later. As fast as it is moving, very fast, if the first four chatpers are the intro then it's going to be hard to draw a bead on...

As usual, google is the butter: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Kinkade He's a painter who's built a cult following amongst middle aged women with too much money, no taste and who've read too many issues of "home and garden" or some such magazines. His paintings might be fine or even great if th...

I don't have to tell you that this is just my opinion, but you might actually try lowering the resolution a bit. To me your comic is kind of straddling an uncomfortable area between hi rez and real lo rez. I'm not saying they have to be in the 16-bit final fantasy / mega man template like a lot of o...
