Can't log in thru FTP [solved]
I can't use FTP to connect to my site anymore. Forum login obviously works, SiteAdmin works, and just to verify I even deleted my comic from SiteAdmin and re-added it, which asks for your FTP username and password to get it back, and it worked. So I know I'm trying to connect with the right username...

Update Queue malfunction?
I've been attempting to update my site because previously it wasn't working correctly with Autokeen (my fault). After making my updates I've been submitting them to the Queue as directed in the help topics. Now, I've noticed some funky things about the Queue, and at first I thought it was just me bu...

Yup, happened again. Oddly enough it's only affecting my Index page. Dailytemplate seems to have worked correctly and it uses the same code as below (well, not quite. I recently added in the code to center the ad). Using ***advertisement*** here. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> <!DOCTYPE...

Odd... this same thing happened to me last week as I was testing my new template files. My current "Index" page was displaying ads for a while (when I uploaded manually through FTP), but then I did an "Index Update" through my browser admin tool and the ad was removed and replaced with "Duplicate Ad...

Now, I have to pull out the mallet and be mean here. I see no ***advertisement*** tags (or resulting code) in your webpages, and it looks like you're not using AutoKeen properly. You need to move your site to use AutoKeen so the ***advertisement*** tags will work, you'll be inside our AUP, and our ...

Banner-Related Slowness
I thought the reason my site was acting slow had something to do with the server malfunction on the 18th, but seeing as that's been fixed it turns out it hasn't. So I did some more testing to find where the problem was. Upload test: Fine. No extra time wasted while uploading files, so it didn't seem...

Finished updating, the results are puzzling . . . I can upload just fine. Connection speeds through FTP are just as easy as any other time. The pageload is extremely slow for some reason, however. I count roughly 30-50 seconds per page before I even see the background color. Once that much is loaded...

Pretty much everything on my site is loading like its coming through a faulty 14.4k modem. Haven't tried updating anything, but I plan on doing so this weekend so if I run into anything I'll be sure to send feedback. It seems like all of the comics that appear through Pogs on the main page load up w...

Does anybody here play Magic: the Gathering? I'm a nut with this game. I have 16 decks, and I wouldn't mind sharing my deck builds or combos with anyone interested.

What's better is the dashed line pointing to it. Unless I'm mistaken, that's one of those store displays that has height markers on it so that kids can see how tall they are. Think of that, then think of where those cookie balls are in relation to that height marker . . . "You must be this tall to b...

Best case: After cleaning up my first ten pages or so, a publisher decides they want to print it as a graphic novel. Even better, people actually get the point I'm making and the comic makes a difference to some people in the world. Worst case: It gets published, but nobody's interested. Except my p...

Here is a secret I am willing to let go. This involves an experiment I have been tinkering with, and I'm using my comic for this new idea. The idea is entirely mine, so if anybody wonders where this came from . . . yo. Ever notice how if you look at an LCD monitor at the wrong angle, the colors beco...

Sildar suggested streamlining/reducing the number of rules here. How should the rules here for combat turns be affected? There may be some parts I can remove, since some of it is based on experiences at the Keep and we are in fact trying to make something new other than the Keep, it seems. Let me kn...

While this should be discussed in the "rules" section . . . ;) So we should cut down on the rules, then? Which ones are in the way? I think the "turn" limit for battles is still necessary. As for the others, keep in mind we might be expecting new people we haven't played with, and there are some thi...
