Re: Lookin' fo' RSS help
This seems to answer my question: http://web-design.lovetoknow.com/How_Do_I_Put_an_RSS_Feed_on_My_Website ... but I have another: there is a file called "rss.xml" in my directory, which could apparently be used to provide an RSS feed (as I understand it), but it's in the "public_html" folder, which ...

Re: Lookin' fo' RSS help
Thanks. I wasn't sure if it belonged in Help; I figured that was more for CG-only issues, and this is sort of extraneous. But I did wonder what you said, McD.

Lookin' fo' RSS help
Greeting, all. I realize it's been quite a while since I last visited here, and I hope this post finds you well. My comic has, in a way and for the time being, ended. However, for now I'm updating my site sporadically, and because of that I'd like to be able to give notification to my readers as to ...

TuneCore?
Anybody ever heard of this service before? http://www.tunecore.com/ They seem awfully confident, and they don't seem to be making too-good-to-be-true promises ("get famous for FREE!"), but their pricing system seems a tad high, especially since one can publish a CD on Lulu for free. I guess the trad...
Pick One
Doing a non-scientific survey here. Pick one, and if you want, tell me why you picked the one you chose. I can't tell you why I'm asking this, or it'll influence your answer. Thank you in advance for your help.

Review of Substitute Class Imago I have to admit that I might have missed it somewhere, but I'm not sure what the title actually means; I thought there was a school involved. This is a fairly new comic, so there was not a huge archive to use for a review. That being said, there seems to be a lot of ...

Re: my two bits
I'm also amazed about that, because the guy ran out of material five years ago.Kisai wrote:I'm actually quite amazed that 8bit theatre still exists.

Only tell the readers you'll be back if you actually have a tangible plan to be back ( i.e. a specific time frame). I can't remember any time that a comic has come back from an "indefinite hiatus," and, frankly, I don't think your readers would appreciate broken promises. On the other hand, you tech...

The way you have it doesn't make it necessarily unreadable. It just slows things down depending on the specific layout. I've seen comics that will number the dialog balloons at the beginning or top of each one to clarify this kind of thing; that might be a simpler/faster way to redo the archives. Gl...

Online Gallery?
I'm thinking about displaying some of my artwork online (largely non-comic related), and I'm trying to figure out the best venue for that. It may or may not become an online portfolio, in which case I will probably buy webspace when that time comes. This is very much meant to be a popular opinion po...

Balloons 8, 9, and 10 are a good example of how the average comic reader will follow the dialog. Separating the statements with stems betwen the balloons helps to clarify things. Without seeing the dialog, though, one might tend to clump 10 together with 12 and 13. Same thing with 1, 3, and 4. Also ...

Review of Indefensible Positions This was a comic that this reviewer knew about for some time, but did not start reading until a few months ago. When it touts itself as a comic of "superheroic philosophy, it does not disappoint. ART It has been said that good writing will make up for subpar artwork,...

However, maybe it was cervical cancer. Low levels of radiation exposure that would not otherwise cause any harm, similar to exposue from the sun, could possibly have affected MJ's cervix, which would be exposed to less radiation since, obviously, the sun doesn't shine there, and due to rapid cell d...
