I like that solution. I'll have to try it.Gengar003 wrote:I noticed this problem, too, and no matter what, couldn't fix it. Lucky for me, my layout was in a table, so I just made the background of the "next day" cell be the next day ghosted image... but It's been 3 weeks and it still has never shown up.

Check your indextemplate.html file. Does it have ***next_day*** in it? I'd bet that's your problem. I'm using ***next_day*** and the "next day" icon appears where it should on all the pages where there is a next page. It's the ghosted version of the graphic that doesn't show up, but I'm pretty sure...

News Reporter Death
Next week I'm doing a LWN about Neil Gaiman auctioning off the naming rights for a cruise ship in his upcoming novel, Anasasi Boys . It would be damn funny if anybody could draw Gaiman's Death character from the Sandman comic book series as a news reporter in a style something like the news reporter...

My characters are clip-art based but if that's all right I'd love to give them a chance to get out and about.anywherebuthere wrote:So, any takers?

Update jams
I'm new to Keenspace so the current problem with the manual updates is new to me (it's been 12 hours since I put in an update request and I'm still in a queue of 4694 requests). I take it this is something that happens fairly often, but I was wondering how often, what causes it, and what might be do...

The New SAT
It's been a long time and a few format changes since I took the SAT, but I wanted to write something up about the newest incarnation of the test for LWN. Did anyone here take the test this weekend? How was it? Any funny SAT-related stories or speculation about how the test might be changed in the fu...

Letters to the Editor
Yee-hah! I've gots me a week's worth of archives, a bright yellow template, and a shiny new banner. It's almost like I know what I'm doing. Now's the time to go on hiatus. I'll be out of the country and away from all things electronic for three weeks in April, so I thought perhaps I could run a "let...

It would be canon. Gospel of the Great Pumpkin would come somewhere between Character Genesis and Fourth Panel Revelations.TheGoobla wrote:Well, I'm not sure I know how the J-meister would feel about that great pumpkin bit.tem2 wrote:Three words: Saint Charles Schultz.
