Why not just go into workspace/webpages and make a subdirectory for your art? Then you'd have pages like http://thepkf.comicgen.com/art/whatever.html

It's the newsbox. There's an section in the siteadmin for Promo/Banner/Newsbox/Pog/Chan images, you can enter one there (must be 150x300).

When you delete items from the public_html directory you have to be sure to run a full update. This is pretty much the only time a regular one won't work.
