Relief from angst
Methinks she will be finding enjoyment in working at the Arcade, thus relieving the mopey, angsty aspects of her personality and making her easier to be around.

I love how you put her "romantic problems" cats into the last frame.
Finding the cats commentary in the archives makes it all the more special- like an inside joke of sorts.

3/10 comic and shannon
Todays text removes Emma's mom as an option, I am thinking older sister or an aunt.
But the guy behind the phone kiosk/booth sorta resembles...... Zack perhaps? With better speach mannerisms.

Special skills indeed
I suspect Lou knows FAR more about managing and running the restaurant than most in the industry. There IS an efficiency to simplicity, because with unskilled/trainee workers there is often greater opportunity for confusion of methods and corresponding conflicts. I suspect that the two have been wor...

Mystery woman
I think shannon (her name is in the commentary in the archives, looks like she may be related to EMMA.
Same general expressions and demeanor. Just scale up 15-20 years.

Missing cartoonist
the Notes on the TS site indicated that BJ has been busy lately. Plus they announced (on TS) that they were taking the week off for the Turkey day holiday. (actually ran close to two weeks- stopped midweek, then returned two midweeks later.)

Fishermans Friend cough drops
Dunno your geographic, but I have seen them at CVS and Stop & Shop here in CT.
Stick with the original (not the mint) since that flavor works better. They taste nasty, but your tongue goes numb after a few minutes and are quite effective. Does leave the breath a little off tho.

Why no Keanu? I thought he was suitibly brain dead for the role of being shocked into the "real" world. After all, he is not a leader role, merely a messiah (read messenger) of change. To change the world and then pass from it leaving a legacy. I expect that some of the kids from the oracle's apartm...

The comic seems fairly true-to-life. That siblings still plot and get on each other's nerves and generally act like children no matter what their ages.
I am intermittant with many strips (several month intervals) due to travel for work, but this is one I would try to be back for regularly.
-----...

Nay milord, depends on the design. If the outlet is high, then as the cold water is added (cold water is denser therefore sinks) it displaces upward the hotter water (towards the outlet. Then you get a HUGE suprise when the hot water suddenly cuts out.
Alternatively, if using a large flow of water...

I think there are rune fonts out there, there was a phonetic one used in the old Ultima series games, that I have seen used elsewhere where runes are called for. It is even functional. The decay seemed to have a shamanistic bent, almost an omen. It decayed just as she was about to be attacked. The girl (already id'd as the deceased daughter of the enemy-mage (in another thread)) seems to be acting as a sort of spirit guide. Since (according to the April edition of Discover mag (a ...
