I actually have seen very few Animes, so my short list of favorites pretty much covers all that I've seen. let's see: Akira- ranks as number one because of it's insane level of animation. almost every single frame is redrawn, even for somthing as simple as someone talking. I start all of my pictures with a pencil sketch with a simple .5 lead mechanical pencil. after I've fleshed out the basic idea of the picture I add the ink with a very fine brush, just using the very tip.
